Make that the 27th. Seems I will be heading down to Dads in the morning, then we will leave to FL around 9pm and drive through till Sat Eve. Hope I can stay awake that long...
  2. Balandar nub Uglutz, Balandar iz Grulg.
  3. MSN?? No thanks. A lot of people do not want to get a Bill Gates email account just to chat. IRC allows hundreds of people to chat in the same room.
  4. You can become a part of the blizzard fansite program and say that you are an official blizzard fansite. But their information on there is their own.
  5. It depends on how it is used. Okay Example: /say OOC: Sorry, but I have a real life emergency and must leave. Note the OOC part. Bad Example: /say Go to hell and screw you. /say My str is 25. /say I only need 12 xp till my next level. The Bad Example will result in punishment, possibly a demotion in the guild, public clomping in front of guild members, maybe some kind of guild clomping by peon(s) in the guild, something humiliating. Or just a simple /guild remove player if un-orc like (E.G. Cursing in any language, orcish or english or anything).

    Promotions!

Everyone congratulate Glok’tur and Varguk on their promotions. Varguk has been active on the forums with a total of 14 posts! He is now a gruntee! Glok’tur has been active with a total of 22 posts! He is also very well versed in the orcish language and has helped several members already with their orcish! He is now a gruntee! Very soon to be a Grunt!
  8. Doh, and I won't be here from the 26th till the 8th. Booo! Lets start the meeting after that I don't want to miss the first one. heh.
  9. We have more like 10 active players right now. The rest are inactive players who have not posted on the forums yet and we do not know if they will be active. *growls* They may become more active once the beta starts. We will most likely have around 60 players in the guild. And no, you might not know everyone on an intimate level. We have had over 120 people in our PGoH guild at one time or another. But I hate logging into a game to find that I am the only one online. With 60 people, we should have around 10 - 20 at all times, and maybe even upwards of 50 on the weekends. A guild is easy to hold together as long as the chain of command is held together. Gruntees will report to Grunts. Grunts to captains. Captains to Chieftains. And finally, if needed, chieftains to the Guild Leaders (War Chieftains). I do not want to see Gruntees asking questions to the guild leaders that they can get answers to from grunts or other gruntees (or the website). The same goes with the other ranks. Uglutz and I will have enough to do without needing to be brought into some problem that involves a sour trade of some sort or another between two guild members. Also this is a game, you are to have FUN, not get involved in an overwhelming amount of politics (like Shadowbane, UGH!). Everyone in a guild has his/her own responsibility. If everything was on one person alone, then a guild of 60 would indeed be hard to take care of.. unless you can devote 24/7 to a game. I do not see any problems with that in WoW. Orcs are much easier to control compared to noble honorable humans and their petty ideas of good. If we have a problem in the clan, that problem will be clomped! >:]
  10. Oh, fyi, for those who are confused. Balandar = Grulg Martok = Uglutz.
  11. The 2004 Honor Empire Site Fundraiser is up. Click the chalice up top, or the link below. http://www.thehonorempire.org/donations.shtml Please contact Borg if you donate to The Honor Empire. Borg@TheHonorEmpire.org
  12. The EQ site layout has been updated. http://www.thehonorempire.org/eq/
  13. Ug Der! Welkum tu da Clan! Meny bullz hab been join'n uz ub layt!!
  14. *glowers at Vradish* Mayk id su lat kan eet un id.
  15. Doubt it. If they did, they would have something along the lines of one fight every 30 mins. So even if you did get some small amount of XP, it wouldn't be worth the trouble and time.
  16. If there is no penalty for killing each other, this would be a good way to practice. Also if you can have more than 2 people, we can have our monthly captain battle And!! If the areas are instanced, we won't have to worry about people trying to ruin our fun.

    Shaman Info

Guess I won't need to get a wolf now since I have Uglutz.
  18. *grinz* Nudder Goth en da maykn! OOC: *grins* Another lord in the making!
  19. Made up god. socxwarchief is the leader of the splintered orcs clan.
  20. Oops, sorry. Forgot to send an email.
  21. About section "At first, the Skullcrusher Orc Clan was simply a rogue orc band, bent on destruction of any alliance settlement or village. Then, according to scholars, the warrior Uglutz had some sort of vision by the orc god Shakha. It is not exactly known what was seen in Uglutz’s vision. All attempts by our scholars to question Uglutz have been met with tremendous failure, and loss of life. The only thing about this vision that is known, is immediately following his message from Shakha, the blood god, Uglutz threw down his axe and then began to embrace the path of the shaman."
  22. As to captains, any grunt can challenge any captain once a month. There will be an all out battle for that position (if that is possible in game). As to who will be the first captain, dunno. The captain will be responsible for all the grunts under his command. If a grunt has a problem, he will go to his captain. It's the captains duty to either solve it himself or bring the matter to his Chieftain. I do not want every peon and gruntee bugging the war chieftains. I have seen that happen to many times in other guilds. There will be a strict chain of command that will be followed. A lot of the details are still being worked out and we won't know the limits of each position and what each will be in charge of until we have a better understanding of the game mechanics. Also, the captain will plan dungeon crawls and the like. The War Chieftains will plan anything that involves battles with other guilds. The Chieftains will be advisors and handle other problems that will surely come up in the guild. I am thinking of implementing and idea from shadowclan. Their drinkee fest. Where the battles can take place for captains. Where Uglutz could rile up the orcs into a preying frenzy to our orcish god. And of course since Blizz has alcohol in WoW, we can all get drunk and slug it out with each other as orcs would >:L I suspect a lot of our customs and traditions will develop in game while we play. I just hope the 3d environment will work out okay. It won’t be like UO, where we can get a nice screenshot of 50 some orcs all together. But who knows, maybe the camera setup in UO allows you to zoom out like the EQ setup.
  23. We can do that if they have guild halls in game. Housing might be pushed back for some time. But we can still create a guild. I'll just need to have 10 guild members online, then everyone signs the charter and the guild will be created. Then I can post a message on our website saying the Skullcrusher Orc Clan is now Official! Many more months of waiting.
  24. Yup, if it would be possible for a person other then a guild member to hear you, then you speak orcish. Even if there are no other people around, you still speak orcish. E.G. everything in /say /whisper /shout /yell /etc The below would be fine since only Uglutz would hear it since it is a /tell (kind of like battle.net's /msg for those that do not play MMORPGs). /tell Uglutz Whatcha up to? But.. if you /say something then it needs to be in orcish. /say Ug der Uglutz! Wud lat duin?
