Only one update so far today... took me a lot longer than I thought. I'll post the example link later once I complete the module. I'll also work on the HTML version of our intro flash page tomorrow. Roster Update. 01-27-2004 *Read RSS Feeds* Added the ability to read RSS feeds from websites. Right now it is limited to smart feeds using the <item> tags. It will cache everything in the database, and if there are new <item> tags on the RSS feed it will either update existing information or insert the new information retrieved.

Blizzard posted this on their website today. At 6:00 pm PST on Wednesday, January 28th, the signup period for the World of Warcraft Beta Test will officially begin. We will provide a link to the beta-test application right here in the news section at that time. Testers are not going to be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will be able to submit an application and receive equal consideration anytime during the signup period, which will end on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:00 pm PST. Please note that multiple submissions from the same household will result in complete disqualification. For this initial phase of the World of Warcraft beta test, we will only be able to accept applications from Canada, Korea, and the US. The test for Europe and other countries around the world will happen later this year. Please do not contact us for further information regarding the beta test; we will be posting a FAQ in the days ahead.

Houses are not expected to make the game release. A single guild structure, hall, might be available by release date.

Welcome to the Clan! *grabs his orcish buuk ub lurnin* *flips open to page 15* The word "language" in orcish is "Blah", this could also be used for the words speaking, speech, etc. *flips back a few pages* The word "be" in orcish should be spelled as it sounds, you did that correct... but you should attempt to spell the words so they do not spell another English word. In this case I would leave "be" as "be". Not every word must look like orcish. *flips* Of could be ub. *flips* Orcs do not use awesome. That is very Humieish. Try bubhosh which means great.

Keep it simple... spell orcish words as the way they sound in english, just give them an orcish "feel". Example 1. Me is Vronk. Since "is" already has an "s" on it, kinda hard to change it. But in this case, Me ib Vronk would work better then "ub". Example 2. Second line is good, you could most likely just leave still as stil or still. If it's hard to change to orcish, just leave it as english. Example 3. Hehehhehe. Hoomies, are not from the Hood. Happy Birthday! Try Humies or Oomies.

I have added code to allow your avatars to show on the news sections of each website. They are set to 32x32 pixels, half the size of the forums avatars. This is automagic , so nothing is needed on your part, other than having an image for your avatar
