  1. The 4 empty ones in the lower left are village lots. Same by the orchard. The row lots are the bottom right where you see tons of little lots. Bal's House and Wolf's house are village sized. Borg is the only one I know of that has a town lot pledge. Citizen is the first pledge level with a tax free lot. Or you can buy lots in game and pay gold for upkeep and taxes. Due to my limited game time, I went the pledge route. Sindee has a village lot as an Edelemann. I would guess that would be the village lot near the row houses? Or is that the pavillion Borg? I forget. All of the blank lots are available to claim. So if you want a village lot for your dwarven hold let Borg know and he can update the pic. Or donate a ton of $$$ to get a larger town. Ha!
  2. Edelmann, nice! Welcome to the addiction! We'll have to get Borg to update his diagram with your location. Any ideas what you would want to do? I have limited game time, so I can't run an active establishment. My tower will be a knight's keep, but I'll make it look wizardly with an arena basement (already purchased it). Maybe keep some minions down there. And I bought the pavillian, another passive location, for all of our workbenches. The castle lot is HUGE.
  3. I think the row houses should be a chaotic mix of different heights and types to lend itself to the village feel you see in movies. I like chaos. What would be cool is if a row house has a open roof top that you can use. I plan on having an alter on my roof so I can see the Stars and moon phases. I need to make my powerful enchanted items and that can only occur during certain phases.
  4. Got mine yesterday. I think I saw that guy running around too. I want the tech he is using for the raccoon! That's a great way to do twitch. Need to show Borg that.
  5. Speaking of which, to hi-jack this thread, does anyone know if you can purchase multiple bank upgrades? Or is it 1 per customer?
  6. I was thinking about throwing some money at a horse... but I'm going to hold off. I'd rather have more bank space as I doubt we'll see that goal met before launch.
  7. I'm leaning towards forest as well. They have done some tree upgrades with Unity 5 that makes them much more realistic. I wonder if we can get a pond in a template?
  8. That is the correct url. They also release information in their email blasts. I have a village lot with my founder pledge. Stan has a town lot. I believe wolf had a village lot as well. We can mix and match what we want. I agree a keep would be awesome, but we need to see if that can be purchased for in game gold or obtained via quests. We also need to decide on a biome. One lot would need to remain empty for jousting and bleachers. Several people have made some really great seating areas out of miscellaneous furniture in game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I believe we can only have ONE NPC building with a holdfast (which Stan current purchased). In which case, my preference is a Bank or Tavern. In that order. My reasoning is we can always have a village lot with a building and make it a player run tavern.. no need for a physical tavern. And we should pick a building that has at least 2 NPCs if we can only have one building (plus if we want to name an NPC and create a backstory after our fallen comrade). A bank would be handy so we do not have to port to another city. Banks are also LOCAL and not global. So having a bank in our town would be a huge benefit, especially if they implement some kind of recall home spell or scroll. Having to go to another city for your bank would be tedious. It would also allow for others that use our bank to have a reason to come back to our town (assuming we get a prime location, but there are quite a few player run towns it looks like). I would not choose a guard at the bank. I would choose some kind of merchant where we can sell items (if possible). Possibly a reagent merchant, as I can see getting spell components could be difficult. Or a standard general merchant (whatever they are called) so we can get our basic supplies for crafting (rather than having to head to another town or city). In addition, I purchased a Village Pavilion that we can use near our town square for our crafting tables.
  10. LOL. I hope SoTA doesn't getting any of the "petitioner" type.
  11. That's pretty cool. I have some fond memories of EQ... a lot more of UO. Not sure if it's possible to relive those experiences due to so many moving on. Only a few of us remain from those long ago days.
  12. SinDee, I've moved this to the new subforum. Feel free to create a new quests thread and I'll PIN it.
  13. Please keep threads grouped by topic. For example, if you start a quest thread, post all quests in the same thread. Please update your original post if you have additional quests. If a quest is has a lot of steps or is image heavy, a new thread may be warranted. Please make a new thread and link to it from your main Quest thread/post. The same holds for crafting tips/recipes, information on housing, skills, magic items, equations, links to external resources, etc. Thank you
  14. Nice find!. Maybe we should get a resource sub-forum going so we can post quests/etc and websites that we find. Like on TheMadHermit's website he has several maps of dungeons already.
  15. Sorry, I will not be able to attend. I work on Monday. That is too late for me now-a-days.
  16. Should be fine. I am still running on an old i5 processor. I was on PCIX 2 as well, but upgraded my motherboard to ver. 3. I didn't notice much of an improvement over 2. This is what I am using: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150696 XFX Double Dissipation R9-290X-EDFD Radeon R9 290X 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5
  17. Yes, they have parts of the main land now for you to travel in. Solace bridge is on the main land as well as Adoris. Those are the two primary 'towns' that you can enter into Novia from. They have quite a bit of content now. The overland map also allows others not in your party to show up on the screen. So it's no longer you just running around on the overland map (around 4 others usually max I believe). The overland map has undergone a lot of improvements.
  18. They allow upgrades. So you can pay the difference between pledge amounts. So if you purchase a lower level pledge, you can upgrade to any of the higher pledge levels and only pay the difference between them. They also have a payment plan, which was just extended out to November I believe.
  19. /zone Borg Stonewall Ehehehhe
  20. Have you been following the changes? Has anything else been announced? I saw that they are doing away with story bricks and moving what has been completed so far in-house.
  21. Rumble, so you want me to keep your old one listed as well? I haven't logged into release 15 yet. I want to try to get to it this weekend for the mask.
