  1. Pretty much a gaming system. Storage will be on the old alienware. So I think the 120 SSD and the extra 32 GB SSD will be plenty for SWTOR
  2. So the colors didn't work. Free stuff after MIR's are. 32 GB SSD HDD, 22" LCD Monitor, Gaming Keyboard, Gaming Mouse, Gaming Headset. MIR's on 120 GB SSH Hd ($50), Mobo ($20). There may be one or two others in there as well. Can't recall off hand.
  3. So I've been looking for a new system for awhile now and have been waiting for Black Friday. Cyberpowerpc has some nice door openers going on now until 9AM PST. Another 40 minutes or so I think. $1414 on the system below... $505 of which will be mail in rebates. So total cost is $909 for the below system with 6 month no interest. Also, free shipping. $125 normally for shipping. No Windows 7 64 bit OS installed ($100ish for home premium). I think I can get a better price other places. Here is the saved configuration. The only difference is I added an extra blu-ray drive for $20 for total of 2. Items in blue below are free after mail in rebates. Items in RED are not free but have mail in rebates on them. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1DP3J8 Mega Special III SP3, http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Mega_Special_III *BASE_PRICE: [+809] CARE1: Ultra Enhanced Packaging Solution - Protect Your Dream System During Transit [+19] CAS: CoolerMaster Elite 430 Mid-Tower Gaming Case with Side Panel Window CD: LG UH12LS28K 12X Blu-Ray Player & DVDRW Combo Drive [+0] (BLACK COLOR) CD2: LG UH12LS28K 12X Blu-Ray Player & DVDRW Combo Drive [+20] (BLACK COLOR) COOLANT: Standard Coolant CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA1155 (All Venom OC Certified) CS_FAN: Default case fans FAN: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan (Enhanced Cooling Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) (Single Standard 120MM Fan) FLASHMEDIA: INTERNAL 12in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer (BLACK COLOR) FREEBIE_VC1: FREE Game - Shogun 2 Coupon: Total War [+0] FREEBIE_VC2: FREE Game - Deus Ex: Human Revolution [+0] HDD: * 120 GB ADATA S511 SATA-III 6.0Gb/s SSD - 550MB/s Read & 510MB/s Write [+98] (Single Drive) HDD2: * 32 GB Kingston SSDNOW V100 SATA-II 3.0Gb/s SSD - 160MB/s Read & 70MB/s Write [+71] (Single Drive) HEADSET1: * Corsair HS1NA USB Gaming Headset [+99] IEEE_CARD: None IUSB: Built-in USB 2.0 Ports KEYBOARD: * Tt eSports Challenger Pro Gaming Keyboard Black [+53] MEMORY: 16GB (4GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance) MONITOR: * 22" Widescreen 1680x1050 TFT Active Matrix LCD Display [+148] MOTHERBOARD: * [CrossFireX/SLI] GigaByte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 mATX MB w/ Lucid Virtu Intel Smart Response Technology & 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, 2x SATA-III RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 1 PCIe X4 & 1 PCIe X1 (All Venom OC Certified) [+23] MOUSE: * Corsair Vengeance M60 Performance FPS Laser Gaming Mouse [+64] NETWORK: Onboard Gigabit LAN Network OS: None - FORMAT HARD DRIVE ONLY OVERCLOCK: No Overclocking POWERSUPPLY: 700 Watts - XtremeGear SLI/CrossFireX Ready Power Supply [+10] RUSH: NO; READY TO SHIP IN 5~10 BUSINESS DAYS SERVICE: STANDARD WARRANTY: 3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY PLUS LIFE-TIME TECHNICAL SUPPORT SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card [+0] (Major Brand Powered by AMD) XWNC1: Edimax EW-7811Un IEEE Nano 802.11n USB Wireless Adapter [+0] I think it'll do for SWTOR and a good replacement for my Alienware which is 8 years old now and can't run SWTOR.
  4. Lol! I forgot about the pee tub. Reminds me of the liddul panzie reward.
  5. I wonder if they will have open beta a couple of weeks before early release.
  6. Found this site. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx It'll run a JAVA applet to test and see if your system can run certain games. SWTOR is listed. Looks legit. My virus scanners didn't go off.
  7. Same, 10 AM CST, 11 AM my time. I hope to get some play in that day. I would like to try out each character. 11 AM is a bit late to get started, but we'll see.
  8. Congratulations on the children and that's great on the bike club! My Wife and I are 'planning' to have Children at the end of next year. She is a full time Nanny for 2 younglings P90X is awesome! But it does require equipment. You'll need a pull-up/chin-up bar and weights. Also enough head room to do jumping jacks and lifting weights above your head to full arm extension (which is why I can't use my basement, Grr.). It's a great program. P90X2 isn't P90X harder, so you can start with that as well. Right now P90X2 has free shipping if you pre-order. Shipping costs about $40 if you order the package with medicine balls/etc. Here's an article that I summarized from a call that Tony Horton did: P90X2 is not P90X harder. It’s P90X different. It's about an hour to an hour:15 a day, 6 days a week. So there is a significant time commitment. Martok has completed several rounds of P90X as well and we have both pre-ordered the X2. If you do decide pre-order or look at other programs, use the links on my website. Good 'seeing' you again!
  9. I just completed the download. The folder itself is 18.5GB total. I didn't pay attention to the download so I don't know what the pre-extraction size is.
  10. From SWTOR.com: Hello everyone! As some of you may have noticed, we are beginning to grant access for players who will be asked to participate in this weekend’s Beta Testing Weekend. We will be sending invite emails very soon, but the process of inviting and granting access can take several days. If you do not have access now, please check back later in the week and watch for official announcements. For anyone who has visited the Game Tester Page and has been able to download: you are installing the newest launcher and game client, and you will not need to uninstall if you get an invite email. However, this is a new build of the game, and any software used during previous testing phases will need to be updated to the current version. Please note that we’ll be notifying players separately about when and how this testing phase will begin. Watch for official emails and sticky messages here in the Game Tester Forums. We’re excited for this weekend’s fun and are looking forward to your participating and feedback! Welcome!
  11. So what does the Legacy Level give you? What if I don't want all of my characters to have the same last name?
  12. Happy Birthday bud! Happy Birthday!
  13. Sounds like Duck Butter to me (learn something new at work every day).
  14. More on this: You can choose to do one of the following: - Display your legacy name as your last name ("Raiel Firewalker") - Display your legacy name below your name Raiel The Firewalker Legacy - or choose to hide it altogether. This choice can differ per character.
  15. From SWTOR.com: Hey Everyone, This build has our first iteration of the Legacy System! At its core the Legacy system is about allowing players to create a family tree of characters. Family is pretty important to the Star Wars universe, with the Skywalker family having one of the most interesting dynamics in movie history. This version is just the foundational components that we will use to build upon in the future. Here are the features of this iteration: Once your character has completed their Chapter 1 storyline, they will be able to choose a Legacy Last Name. This Legacy Last Name must be unique and is shared across all characters on that server - so choose carefully! Once you have unlocked your Legacy, any and all characters on that server will now contribute to that player's Legacy Experience Points. Much like normal experience points, when you reach certain Legacy thresholds, you will increase your Legacy Level. We already have plans for how we will expand the functionality of the Legacy System in one of our major post-ship patches. This will include being able to shape your Legacy's family tree, and give you a reward for all those Legacy Levels. We look forward to reading your feedback on the Legacy System! --James
  16. From SWTOR: Folks, As of now, the non disclosure portion of our Game Testing Agreement is officially lifted. While all players must still accept the Game Testing Agreement, from this point on testers may now freely talk about their experiences this past weekend in the game, as well as post screenshots and gameplay videos of their testing experiences. We encourage you to come join us on the official Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Forums to share your experiences! The Star Wars: The Old Republic community site will have a copy of this message on the forums and it will also appear in the Patcher. Players may not talk about nor reprint posts from our testing forums as they are still fully covered by the confidentiality portions of our Game Testing Agreement. And all players who want to participate in the upcoming Beta Test Weekends still have to accept all terms of the Game Testing Agreement. So, other than that, free feel to talk about and share your experiences in Star Wars: The Old Republic. My thanks go out to everyone who has beta tested and continues to beta test the game. It has been with your help and feedback that Star Wars: The Old Republic is where it is today. We really appreciate your efforts. May the Force be with you! Greg Zeschuk VP, Electronic Arts, BioWare Austin, General Manager
  17. The new design for VigilanceEmpire.com has been completed. I obtained the new design earlier this week from my co-worker. I've been busy cropping, editing, and creating the css styles to fit with my backend scripts and templates. Also, check back every now and then to see a different background displayed (I created 4 additional for a total of 5). The old temporary place holder design is attached to this post as reference.
  18. The following FAQ was updated on SWTOR.com. When will the Beta Testing Weekend start? "We are targeting November 25-28 for our upcoming Beta Testing Weekend. Exact timing on when you will be invited will be specified in your invite email." Also, the following was posted in the forums: "Just a reminder that if you were a registered member of our website [sWTOR.com] on or before November 11th, 2011, you will be invited to the future weekend test. Regardless of whether you received an email last week or not, please do not take beta keys off of any external websites if you are already a registered member of our site."
  19. Sweet! I have the 25th off so that would work out well as I won't have time during the weekend.
  20. The Vigilance Game Play, Law, and Role-Playing Guidelines has been published to the website.
  21. I think a topic in the News forum would be helpful as well. It'll show up on the website once I complete that part of the coding.
  22. I can shed some light on this as I am in the same boat... This was posted by a dev in the swtor forums.
  23. Welcome aboard! Glad to have you!
