Wobbly News When the goblins fled their safe home island after Deathwing appeared many many many took the opportunity to start up a biznuss and a nice 401k program for themselves and anyone else they could think of that would put them as their beneficiary upon death. A few though wanted a different form of payback… .led by Wurgle these goblins are planning to bring their form of retirement to the enemies of the Horde and well… anyone who takes them lightly for their stature and sense of humor.. This section Of Skullcrushin’Times will have news from The Wobbly Goblins guild which is our sister guild within Argent Dawn and for the heavier Roleplaying of a Goblin. While there are goblins within the Clan… the Wobbly Goblins were planned out as a separate goblin only guild before the expansion and may become a good area for some cross guild challenges etc as time progresses. Our Teamspeak has both our guilds in action and members should chime in to use it. Even if to lurk you can learn a lot listening to Raid and Battleground orders. Uggie’s New Pad Rumors abound about uncle Uglutz has picked up a new pad after his private hovel was turned into a lava pit during the cataclysm. No one is q uite sure of its location but a photowas left at the Skullcrushin’Times office showing what looks to be the Peetub that Uglutz tends to borrow from Elder Kalea q uite often like a security blanket. Seems to be the style of the ex-founder Chieftan with muck and mire aplenty. A bit of work might be needed on the roof, unless that is his shower source. We here attempted to get a comment from the old cuss and well… you can guess the response we did get. Uglutz does like his privacy away from the Raids and all the new lil orclings and calfs that are springing up lately. Me nub blahhin bout dis und Me nub kan see why latz need tu be botherin da Uglutz bout dis mattah. If ya skribbulz paypa gud fur anyting den it betta be fur whipin my ass aftah a gud meal. Und if ya don’t stop followin me wit deese q uestchuns den ya gunna find dat latz be da dinner fur da Uglutz!!! *%$@#* off!! -Uglutz Kookie Korner SNICKERDOODLES 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/2 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs (Plainstrider eggs preferred) 2 1/4 cups flour 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 1 teaspoon soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon Heat oven to 400 degrees. The Auction House If there was any place that could consume more time than you could imagine; it would be the Auction House and its mechanics available now to the realm. There are now online Applications that allow members to access their biznuss from anyplace including while they are sleeping (real world = dream world) The Skypage of support and mojo means of Curse Gaming has several tomes that can assist even the casual Auction House user at selling their bounty and plunder they find across their adventures. If there was a soul within the Clan that would be interested in assisting in this section of the newspaper, Please contact Colin via email (ingame). It is hoped that through advice here that members can easily take advantage of realm trends and tricks of the trades so to speak that the goblins so greatly are adept at. Below here are a couple of mojo skypage skribbulz that can provide more information. REMOTE WORLD OF WARCRAFT CURSE GAMING WOW ADD-ONS For those members interested in the more roleplaying version of the Auction house; Chieftan Morgh is negotiating with an Ogrimmar Auctioneer who runs his Bazaar quarterly in the Capital Cities Live for a more personal touch to the aspect of haggling a good price for items of worth. This would be a new aspect for the Argent Dawn realm and no where else would there be such an event for the Horde population. There would be official post further about this venture and stay tuned for more details in the months to come!!! Treasury Notes Here is where Elder of the Treasury Gordantellwill state any issues related to the Clan Coffers of Gold and Plunder. Perhaps recognize members who have promoted the wealth of the Clan in terms of gold or items sought by harvesting needs or Council Declarations made GOLD… … … … … .....41,389 SILVER… … … … … … .....28 COPPER… … … … … ..… .40 Keep up the Toils of guild Challenges andwe will be able to open up guild repairs for all members grunt and higher… .or Say hello to my little Friend… ..heheheh -Elder Gordantell Da Classifieds Here Members can put in a request for assistance in epic chores or gathering needs for their skill trades growth. GUILD WIDE HARVEST The guild is in need of heavy amounts of low level herbs… Peacebloom in particular but as many of the flowering Herbs that members can possibly gather and donate to the guild would be greatly appreciated and recognized by Cheiftan Morgh and the Council of Clan Skullcrusher.

Elite Tauren Chieftan Rock Since the days of the Burning Crusade there has been the Elite Tauren Chieftan Band that play across the realm and reside in Silvermoon between gigs with their manager.. They have had promotional posters as the years have progressed and have an album that contains the various famous tunes that are played by the REAL members of the Blizzard design team at BlizCons yearly. Founder Michael Morhaime is the lead Bassist while Samwise Didler is lead vocalist. Sig Nicious and Dave Berggen are on guitars while the figurehead Tauren Drummer is Alan Dabriri. Machinima Fun As technology and software programs keep getting better, faster and cheaper to own… there is a larger amount of Wow Based movies out there that cover serious to plain old matters. The vast majority though capture a point of humor that either happened or is ironic within the game itself as it relates to a real world instance or issue. Heirotan actually found this BLIZZ BLUES with Darnell and I do have to say this weekly video is one to follow for laughs. Darnell has covered the various holiday fun as well as the changes within the game that he will remind you cannot stop his greatness, achievement and ability to get with the ladies of Azeroth regularly. The current episodes cover the Fireland changes as well as the recent holiday fun available to even the hardcore raider., PVPer or super rogue himself. Never to deny a challenge he even PvPs airborn in one. No Noses the way to go in Movies It seems that in all the sci-fi movies recently the nose has taken time off. The central feature of a characters face seem s now to be either missing or shapped into a way that is no longer what we consider a nose. Perhaps it keeps some of the movie go-ers fixated on the character when the dialog goes south and your vat of caffine no longer is able to keep you awake between the explosions It does though put a mean streak in the character regardless of the good or evil side they represent. Can you name the three movies of this spring and summer represented in these pics?.

Da Armory Here within Da Armory section of Skullcrushin’ Times will be information about new additions to the Guild Bank interms of Armor, Weapons and Clothing. News of members becoming able to craft high end items aswell as any stories behind the achievement to aq uire the skill or recipie. In the event that the Clan is ebmarking on a harvesting haul and seeking to build up stockpiles of various items… this will be the place the news will be reported from Elder of the Armory Verissi. Garrison News The Skullcrusher Garrison has grown over the years from its early days as an outlawed squad of Thrall’s elite strike force Orcs. As the years passed in exile the previous overseers of all Warsong Operations in Ashenvale took their expertise and built up a stronghold within the Crater and found refuge and profit dealing between the Cenarions of Sithilus, Goblins of Gadgetzan. Thru the hardwork of the early hunters Thrall himself never knew all the Battle Raptors that the Horde commissioned for thru the Steamwheedle cartel were actually coming from the outlaws he banished for refusing to obey the peace with the Humans that were colonizing the Kalmidor continent. The strength of the Garrison always has been the depth of the Grunt lines and leadership by their Bosses. Bosses lead 4 other grunts in small but powerful sq uads into battle. These sq uads form up into Cohorts or Divisions of the Garrison. Ten Sq uads make up a Division and the current Garrison has 2 Cohortswithin it… BLOOD and THUNDER. These cohorts are legendary and across the realm youwill hear their battle cry being used by other orcs and horde alike when they greet orwhen they seek to inspire others for a coming conflict or event. The upcoming Horde Games are said to contain challenge battles where sq uads can face off against each other for glory, profit and whatever else awaits at the taverns for the victors. In the coming days Chieftan Morgh has said he will be assisting the Grunts and Bosses at designating their sq uads within the Garrison registry. (Paperwork formalities) The current Bosses are as follows… BLOOD COHORT Ascoli, Elrikk, Kazragerg, Lomar, Saephere and Wenvalor THUNDER COHORT Draegloth, Druze, Decreptitude, Markenhoof, Marriana, Shelah, Tainish and Xiris. The current designation of the Garrison is still The Crater Garrison. Warlock Galam sealed and overcharged the defenses of the Clan’s hidden fortresswithin the rim of Ungoro as Deathwing’s reappearnance reshaped the world and the condition and stability of the fortress is unknown at this time. Cheiftan Morgh has commissioned thru our secure connections within the Steamwheedle Cartel a search for a more expansive new Garrison home base of operations. Peon Progress The following Peons are on the registry and under review for promotion or punting. Lelana, Tikes, Stormsage, Themis, Rockna, Cerridewena, Tlalonka, Aetherlia, Zerzzulak, Sanitarium, Krystallin, Moetle, Zetatron Elder Kalea and Chieftan Morghwill accept any nominations for peon Promotion prior to the July 24th Guild meeting.

Colin Mor, a longtime contributor to the Clan Skullcrusher forums, accepted the challenge to restart the Skullcrushin’ Times by Chieftan Morgh. As the Clan has continued to grow so has its reputation and lore across the realm of Argent Dawn. This Colin agreed needed to have a voice or record from the Clan Heralds who travelled with the Garrison Forces across the lands, deep within the dungeons and high above in cloud covered destinations. The paper will contain recent news, recaps from meetings, Elder Speak where one or more Elders will get to blah about whatever they feel is important to the Grunts, Wardens and Peons. It is hoped that there will be a few captured memories (videos) from some of the dark battles within the Raiding events or Battleground glory the clan continues to succeed at consistently. The plans are to also have a comics section for the more light hearted fare. The Biz section will contain information for those consumed by shineeze. Elder Kalea will have her Kooking Korner as well as reporting in with Cheiftan Morgh on membership matters in Peon Progress and Grunt promotions. Matters of the Treasury, Garrison will have their place while a section dedicated to the kinship with Wobbly Goblins will report their progress abroad. A classified section as well as entertainment area will wrap up the plans for the return of the Clan Newspaper. It is Colin’s hope all will enjoy and submit stories overtime that all Crushers will enjoy.

Read Martok's other reply, he suggests: "Commissioned by Keeper, this elite unit deals out swift and unwavering justice to those that stand in the way of Imperial progress." Instead of: "They are an elite unit, dealing swift justice to any who would cross them, Republicans and Emperials alike." I'm not much of a fan of Republicans but he does have a point that is not the right term. And Emperials is spelled wrong.

Guild Name & Guild Leader needed
Balandar replied to Martok's topic in Vigilance- General Discussion
The domain name has been purchased. The website is currently under construction. A blurb about the guild, a link to these forums, and a link to our SWTOR guild page is included. http://www.VigilanceEmpire.com -
Due to the fact that these forums no longer have the option to have a list of avatars (a decision on the developers part that I disagree with) you can download an avatar from the link below to your computer to upload as your avatar on these forums. http://www.vigilanceempire.com/images/avatars/ Enjoy!

I was wondering the same thing as Bowdaar might be a good tank companion for a SI. But I think he may be for the smuggler class. We can have up to 5 companions, at least that was posted awhile ago by a dev, it may change by ship date.
-
I like A for SWTOR and any intro pages. And B for an extended about us page, or the "who we are page". E.G. The Honor Empire descriptions. As SWTOR allows you to specify information about who we prefer to game with, I do not think we need it in the description. Thoughts?

Saw this on the forums, sorry for the formatting. The answer to this question is going to vary wildly and dramatically based on who you ask, so I'll answer only for me - keep in mind that my role and position is pretty unique in the team, as I both manage a team of systems designers who do itemization, maps, crew skills and other features, as well as act as a primary liaison from design to several programming teams (yes, that's plural). So for me, my day is usually a combination of: - Meetings, and lots of them. Some days, even my lunches are meetings. A project this size takes a lot of communication to keep things rolling smoothly. - Playtesting - Triaging issues and design changes - Managing my team (who are, thankfully, excellent, and take little handholding). - Writing an occasional design document for a feature or tweak that slipped through the cracks, or needs redesign based on stats and feedback. When I can sneak in a moment, I try to pop onto the boards and answer a question or two. As you might imagine, though, that time is more limited than I would like. Quote: Is this stage of development stressful or fun? Can't it be both? I'm currently playing a build very nearly nightly, and it's amazing to see it all coming together so nicely. That being said, it's also incredibly frustrating because we're all perfectionists, and we are constantly pushing to take it to the next level. Quote: Is everyone putting in long hours? More than 1 shift? Get weekends off? That'll depend on the week and the team - especially if an important imminent build is coming. That being said, even when we take the weekend 'off', we're playing the game a lot - a couple members of my team and I spent Saturday playtesting the group content on Alderaan, which was great fun, but also resulted in several pages of notes for me to fix this week at work. One of the things that's probably not incredibly obvious to people outside the building is that this project is so big, and has so much content to do, that you can constantly be surprised by work other groups is doing. Usually, this is a good thing. =) Quote: What do you guys do at the office to blow off steam and have fun? On a team this size, there are a lot of different subcultures that do their own thing. We have a fitness group who prefers to go running instead of take lunch. We have a large weekly poker game, and more than one D&D campaign floating around. We have a large subculture of Magic the Gathering players who I keep intending to go lose to. I tend to hang out with the people who like board games. League of Legends is popular, and you can naturally find players of almost any major MMO you can think of, if you try. Also, sarcasm. In general, we use sarcasm the way a French chef uses butter - liberally and on everything. Quote: How do you think the intensity of the next few months will affect your work or personal lives? This late stage a project is always hard, and frequently involves long hours. Fortunately, most of us with spouses are patient and understanding about our career and our passion. In many respects, though, its easier to put the extra oomph on the project now than it was, say, three years ago. Back then, the project was, you know, largely non-existent, amorphous, theoretical. We were still trying to have the fun. Now we can see what we're building, and what needs to be fixed, tweaked and changed. The game is tangible, and fun. There are issues and flaws, no doubt, and still enormous challenges to take on before this thing gets into your hands. But for the most part, the sense is one of finally seeing everything I've been working on for years finally come to fruition, and as you imagine, its extremely gratifying to watch it happen. Quote: Are you guys living on frozen burritos? Bioware treats us very well, thank you. Our founders, Ray and Greg, are very proud of the fact that the studio they founded in Edmonton has won numerous 'best places to work' awards for Canada, and they've done their best to import that culture down to Austin where we work. As for EA - they've largely left things alone, and in general they're very eager for this team and this project to do well. Quote: Is the Bioware janitor really as talented as people say? Which one? We have a whole cleaning crew. Sadly, most of my interaction with them is 'is that the sound of vacuuming? Is it really that late?'

Guild Name & Guild Leader needed

Stan, who do we have that can design the template for a website? Or should we modify the old SWG site? -
This is a very old story from when I played UO and joined the Shadowclan Orcs, probably 98 or 99. It's the basis for Grulg in all of his incarnations throughout the gaming world. It was playing that orc character that led to the Skullcrusher Orc Clan [Or(] in UO (a sub-guild of PGoH for roleplaying) and was a big part of why Skullcrusher Orc Clan came into being in WoW, now known as Clan Skullcrusher. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this small part of history. It took some searching for me to find it! -------------------------------------------------- The Story of Grulg'dush (by Grulg'dush) Nestled among the evergreen pines and blanketed by a fresh new layer of quiet white snow, a mountain cave sheltered a small family of orcs. The night was cold and moonless but the protective mother held her precious young son, Grulg'dush, close to her and the orcish child felt safe and warm. Just outside their cozy home however lurked a danger that was hell bent on destroying this loving family, the humans. The small child's father was a strong warrior and thus his instincts told him that something was wrong. The muscled male orc gripped his axe as he paced the cave’s mouth, his uneven breaths casting small clouds of vapor towards the sky. Slowly he would scan the trees that surrounded his home but his keen eyes only saw his own shadow cast by the flickering fire just inside the cavern. The dark night seemed calm but somehow he knew the serenity would soon be broken. Grulg'dush's mother turned his head away from his father with a gentle hand. Now he could not watch his beloved father pace like a caged animal ready to strike, he could not see him grip the shaft of his weapon nervously or hear the muttered curses that were lost in the night. Strangely enough the boy was not calmed, he too had a warrior's instinct and the presence of an enemy began to pull at the nape of his neck. He could feel his mother's strong heart as well, the quickening beat and staggered thumps and thuds, and he knew that she too could feel the oncoming assault. Then suddenly the snow was quiet no longer. A group of human raider's surged towards his father through the shadowed pines. Each swung wicked blades above their helmeted heads already dripping with the blood of the orcish people. Grulg'dush's father was ready for them however and within moments the largest human was skewed on his heavy axe. Unfortunately this small victory spoke only of the orc's demise. The gore that swam from the human's spilled belly played havoc with the orc's grip and soon the mighty axe fell beside the dead man’s body whose still warm blood already turned the soft new snow to a horrid picture of scarlet murder. When the next man came the orc was defenseless and the arm that he thrown up to shield himself was savagely taken from him as the raider's cruel sword flew towards his head. A cry of rage, a second strike and the unforgiving steel of a weapon brought the warrior down. His yellowed eyes rolled back into his skull and an ichor filled froth began to pour from his gapping mouth as the murderous human pulled his bloodstained blade from his quickly collapsing chest. His father was dead and Grulg'dush's mother was their next victim. She too fought valiantly but the overpowering force of numbers was too much. The men surrounded her and her precious son and soon one of them had her by the throat, slowly coaxing the life from her body as he pulled his knife across her neck. The small boy was forced to watch his mother die. In this moment he remembered his mother's strong beating heart and cursed it now for pulsing her blood out of her body. Mercifully he was struck in the head and lost consciousness before he could witness what the men did to his mother next. He awoke the next morning amid the still and ravaged bodies of his parents. A light fall of snow had begun to cover the gruesome scene but the terrible occurrence could never be erased from the young orc's mind. Quickly he went to his mother's side and was momentarily relieved to see that her chest still rose and fell. The excited young orc immediately started to tear his cloths to make bandages but his rapid movements disturbed the snow and uncovered his father's grand axe. For a moment he was forced to wonder how his father had died. Carefully he began to mend his mother's wounds. Although she was still alive she hung close to death and Grulg'dush, even at his young age, could tell she would not survive another night. In spite of his knowledge he still attempted to heal her. He would never leave her and somehow it seemed his mother knew this and so she left him. She went peacefully that night. Cold and alone the small orcish boy buried his parents. He drug their lifeless bodies to a solemn spot high above his humble cave home. At that spot he left his childhood behind as he held his father's axe high above his head and made a promise to average his parents' death. His life was ahead of him and let the humans beware because he was not going to let them go unpunished. With only his father's weapon as a companion the young orcish man set out to find his people. For years his mother had spoke of another tribe of orcs in a fairy tale but since the raiders killed his people this tale was the only thing he could hold onto. The tale told of his journey before him, of the mountains, deserts, and swamps that would serve as barriers on his journey. He knew the way would be hard but still he would go, still he would forge on, still he would survive. The way would be difficult for a caravan who knew where they were going. For a lone orc who knew little of his path and had only a axe and determination on his side, the way would be nigh on impossible. Imagine for a moment that it did happen, that a lone young orc did survive the impassable journey. Then imagine how much a long adventure could change an impressionable young orcish man and you'll know what it was like to see the lone Grulg'dush as he strode upon uncharacteristically long muscled legs towards the land of the Shadowclan orcs. It was not far from their camp when he heard the tell-tail voices of the wicked humans that he hated and feared so much. His mind reeled back to the night that his parents were murdered and he knew there was no other possible outcome. The humans had to die. He ran headlong into the human camp, battle ensued shortly after. There were four of them, a man and three women but to Grulg'dush that hardly mattered. All that he could think was that they would meet their end on the end of his axe, that his blade would be wetted with the blood of these horrid creatures, that it didn't matter if he did not survive the fight. Time passed so slowly and he could take the time to look deep into the human's eyes as he pulled the heavy axe through their frail bodies. He could smell the fear that permeated them and he could taste the rage that burned in his belly. They seemed to fall like feathers off a dieing bird. His axe pulled flesh off of them with every swing and sprayed it to the waiting ground below him. He reveled in the taste of the gore that spilt into his mouth as he pushed his weapon through one of the woman's stomach. He had tasted nothing sweeter than the flesh that fell from his face into his gaping gasping maw. His heart began to beat faster at the sight of the delicious flesh and he had to will himself not to stop fighting so that he could fill himself with more of the scarlet flesh. Grulg'dush had killed his second human when finally the male struck him hard and he was forced to take a moment to breathe. His breath came as an angered bellow however and it served only to task his lungs further. He had been through too much on his long journey and his body needed some kind of rest. His muscles screamed for air as he struggled to pull his axe around to the assaulting man. His eyes filled with pain as he saw the human pull his sword back to attack again. To him it was that fateful night all over again. He was too weary and he could feel it would not be long before he saw his parents again. He fought on. Again he bellowed but this time in pain as the man's blade, wickedly curved, cut a scarlet path across his chest. A visage of his family shot to his mind when he finally breathed again... he could see them, they were there with him, they were killing the human. Grulg'dush smiled as he saw an orcish weapon slam the human to the ground and his body somehow felt new and untaxed again. With his renewed strength he layed low the remaining woman but fell upon her chest with the weight of the swing. A day passed before he again could see the world in his view. Now he realized what had occurred the night before. It had been the Shadowclan, come to his aid after hearing his fervent cries of battle. They had saved him in his time of need. A new family arose about him... he would be Shadowclan for they had seen his prowess in battle and they had deemed him worthy.
