I know the feeling Wald. It's the same way with Shaman. We didn't get anything new, just talents were condensed into other talents so we don't have as many crap talents to spend points on or useless pre-reqs. We did get a couple interesting ones in the Elemental tree, but they are not too terribly impressive other than getting the ability to cast uninteruppted upon being the victim of a crit. Otherwise my build will be slightly different than what it is now. Nothing earthshattering, and I like the fact that Elemental Mastery is now on a 3 minute cool down and makes the spell free (mana wise)...hated popping that just to have it resisted and wasting the mana AND having to wait 5 minutes.

Huato is going purely elemental/enhance. I'll post a link to the talent calculator once I am able too (can't do it at work...they have the site blocked. grrrrr.) Anyhow, a majority of the points will be elemental with enough in Enhance to get the improved goa and soe totems as well as two hand axes/maces.

I like the challenge too Cwn. The thing that CT Raid helps me with (especialy on Zuato) is that it allows me to manage the amount of information that is coming at me better...as a healer, I focus on my warrior and group first, but I also heal the rest of the raid as I can - all 35 other members. Also dealing with the buffs is a little easier as it adds a timer that you can mouse over and see. Trying to juggle that much without some visual aids is a night mare! lol Anyhow, it's not really about making the game easier...it makes it easier to dissiminate the info that is coming at you. Blizzard provided the tools and the ability to customize the interface how we as the user base see fit, and I applaud them for that, and those that took the initiative to make the tools that I use. I also applaud them for making it optional so that those that don't want to use the extras don't have too. At least we have a choice. Anyhow, I love the full CT Suite, and use it for all of my characters now...that and the Titan bar (It just puts some info you have to dig for onto a bar at the top and/or bottom of the screen so it's always viewable).

Cwn, There are multiple reasons we use CTRAID, and once you do a 6+ man run, you will want it for even 5 man runs. 1) MT ad nauseum windows with targets. The raid can see what the MT and other tanks have targeted, and with options what their target has targeted. Also makes it easier for the healers assigned to the tanks to see their target's health if said person is not in their immediate group. 2) Ability to pop up messages in the center of everyones windows from those authorized by raid leader to do so...such as DPS on/DPS off. 3) Boss special attacks incoming...this uses the broadcast above to announce when a curse, spell, or special ability is incoming so everyone can take the appropriate action. There are more, but those are the 3 biggest reason any raids, especially long ones, want you to have it. I know people do go without it and do fine, but it helps considerably.

I just peeked at Zu...he has 50 FR at the moment...with the two additional pieces of FR geary he has around 70 without buffs, so you are sitting better than he is Fomor. I think you would do fine, but it is your call. As you gain the Prophecy set pieces your FR and Shadow resist will go up a fair amount too, so that is something to think about on the way. Cwn, you should come along one of these days too...I'm sure Maube can have you tank a Molten Destroyer for fun.

No excuses Fomor! Zuato has little in the way of firegear yet and he was able to stay alive to Domo a couple weeks ago. You can do it!!!

I disabled my downloader back when 1.10 came out, and turned it on long enough to get the pre-patch over the weekend. Made me suspect that we would get it this week since they sent out such a huge pre-patch last week after maintenance. I realy wanted to respec Huato this week too.

Looks like these will be quest based instead of drops. here is a post that I picked up on the WW forum regaurding what is needed for them (no specific item breakdown yet, and the Shaman requirements are not present yet): So...do the scraps get dkp, or is this set actually going to be "easy" to obtain? This obviously shoots the cost of Nexus Crystals, Arcane Crystals, and Mooncloth through the roof in the AH! (and here I am trying to get the last of the arcane crystals I need for Huato's mace. ::Huato scurries off to protect his stash of arcanite bars and arcane crystals::

I noticed that the Blizz downloader pulled a couple of "pre patch" files over the weekend that total around 126 MB..just curious if we get the patch today or not since I won't know till I get home from work.

Another humble request from Huato... I am down to needing 4 Blood of the Mountain. Of the other items I've asked for, these are the most rare...if you come across any, I would be glad to compensate you for them - just let me know how much you need for them. And to those that have helped with the other two items, THANK YOU!!!!! I owe a lot of people now, and will do whatever I can to repay you.

Welcome back Maube! Uglutz was generally well behaved while you were gone...he got caught eating a few gnomes and other assorted wildlife, but we made him clean the pee pot and all was good.

Hah! If you had an nVidia card you wouldn't have had that problem. Oh, wait...you might have I just had to pick on you Green. I had my share of problems, and thought it was my nVidia card. Turned out to be power supply and CPU overheating in my case.

Just an update on my progress... 32 bars 6 crystals needing transmuted. That leaves me still looking for 13 more arcane crystals

I don't mind bar runs either. I have all the dark iron I need now, but I still need to hit every vein I come across for a shot at blood of the mountain. All my dio is yours Smed for your faction grind that I get from now on.

Ok, Huato needs to make a dark iron smelting run sometime this weekend. Is there anyone that needs attuned to MC, needs to learn to smelt dark iron, or has quests there that would like to come along? If it's a simple smelt and attunement run we can knock that out fast. If you have quests I don't mind one bit helping out either. Let me know...I figure Sat. evening or Sun. morning might be the best bets for this.
