Hmm Part of me says this is good and part of me says this is bad I was hoping to give Geddon a shot, but then again this gives the group a good chance to get better geared for Geddon et al.

If you are attuned, you don't have to even enter BRD All you have to do is click the big crystal beside the blood elf that gave you the attunement quest...and you're in the Core.

While this is a point of controversy, I feel the raid SHOULD go on. Who is to say that the individual that messed with the sign up wants this to fall apart? This would be a good step towards that if that is their goal. We should show unity in this and move forward with the raid and our partnerships. If it comes down to a contention for a Shaman spot I will step aside for someone else. I was on the list as a main, but I am willing for the betterment of the raid and our relationships to give my spot up tonight for someone else.

Thanks to Korgall, Narsica, Vanidi, and Baracko this is now complete and out of my quest log...and I have a new hat! This group made this quest easy...VERY easy. This one is definitely all about class make up, and now that we know what works, we can get the rest through this with the same classes...we didn't wipe, we never went OOM on the purple ghosts, and the Darkreaver wasn't difficult at all. The only time we came close to wiping was on the green ghosts which are tricky to pull, but we worked through that fine too. I am groggy as heck this morning, but still on that high from getting this done finally last night! Thank you guys! I owe ya! Oh, aside from the Skyfury Helm, you end up getting 5g and 97 silver, plus 200 faction with the Horde (that works out to 800 faction - 200 for each!)! Definitely worth while to do just for the faction if nothing else. The Darkreaver also dropped a very cool looking two hand axe that none of us had ever seen before...I forget what it was called now.

As a Shaman I was also on healing duty during the Geddon fight. Primarily on the MT.

I'd love to do it tonight if I can...I have to pick my son up and I also have to swing by my mom's house to fix her computer...she's having withdrawl already, and it's only been a day.

Good idea! I know Shazzrah went down first try when we were able to take down Geddon. I hope the instance doesn't reset because I know this group can get them both.

I wonder if they changed the day that the instance server resets? I know it used to be Friday (if memory serves) for MC, then they changed it to Tuesday...perhaps they have changed it back again.

I've been to Geddon before, and a tank with a high FR can stay in the pulses and tank him fine. I think the raid that I was in that took him down did have the MT stay put the entire time...but that's been a while ago that happened.

Oh, Huato can make all the rods for enchanters...just ask and I will make it. I will provide the materials except for the arcanite since it is so rare and expensive.

I can't get the CT_Raid_assist either, so if someone could graciously host this for me for tonights run I'd greatly appreciate it! EDIT: Looks like it came across in the full add on download, so I don't need it, but others may.

Well, you'd have to have someone de blue items I believe level 50 and up. That being said, I have a small collection of shards that I won't be able to use for a while, so you are welcome to the 4 you need. I'll send them your way this evening before departing to the Core. The orbs do come from the living side of strath, so we'll need to get a group of 5 together to go and try to get you a couple. Oh, the Arcanite Rod - the enchanters will already have this most likely, so you won't have to provide that.

They may have it for pre-order, but they've also had Duke Nukem Forever on preorder before too. Seriously though...with the state of the game, and as ambitious as the expansion is supposed to be, I would be VERY surprised if it made it before November, and if so, if it didn't require all sorts of patches just to be playable.

The November thing is just a guess...it appears that Blizzard is going to get the class updates done prior to putting out the expansion, so at the rate things are going, I wouldn't expect the expansion to make it through public testing till Novemeber, especially if it is as ambitious as it sounds. Just a guess on my part though. They could rush it out and patch it 4 or 5 times a month till it's stable though.

I like the looks of the Disc tree, but I don't know how effective that is for grinding to 60. Since I get a free respec, I am going to put that 1 point that I have already into Shadow till I get high enoough to be useful for instances and raids.
