Speaking of add ons...anyone had any luck with the Calendar lately? I can't seem to get anything on it other than raid reset info for instances.

Now this relic appeals to me: This was posted by Eyonix in the Shaman forum. Looking forward to 1.10 too...that 9% mana reduction for healing spells will be a blessing.

I know this game has been out for a while, but have never tried it. The idea of no subscription fee is very appealing. So who has tried it, and what do you think of it?

I played from release up to about the time WoW came out. Since then I haven't touched it except occasionally when I am home on Tuesdays during WoW maintenance. I hope they do a Diablo 3 and it's good...and non-subscription based.

Damn, I am starting to actively seek new employment elsewhere. Glad you found something already! Gotta wait till my wife delivers before I get serious about a new job though. Should be this week or next when he gets here.

No, we cannot purge friendly targets. Only enemy targets, so it doesn't work out the same. We remove helpful buffs for the enemy. I wish we had cleanse instead though. If one or our raid gets mind controlled, we can purge them then, but only then because they are now an enemy. Purging removes the mind control though.

Thier set up for Gehennas is different than what we usually do, but it appears to work. Now we need to get our butts in there regularly.

Agreed, however we don't have Paladins, and priests are usually in short supply, so it's a fun encounter. The priests will have to take care of all those in Luci's range. Once the minions are down it's usually DPS ON for Luci, therefore more people end up in range. What I've personally done is when I get it I run back out of range, bandage once the Impending Doom pops, then go back to spot healing and dps.

All of the healers and the main tanks tanking Lucifron are going to be subject to that 5 second magic that does 2k damage if not dispelled immediately. The more Shadow resist we have, the less damage that will do.

I need to add that fire resist is paramount when fighting Magmadar, and the core/ancient hounds do a tremendous amount of fire damage. One of the tanks forgot to switch from his shadow resist gear back to his fire resist gear before a core hound (trash mob). He went from taking around 200 damage from the breath to over 1400. With that kind of swing on one of the tanks, it would be very difficult to keep them up during even a trash mob fight. Don't underestimate the need for FR in there, especially for the tanks. We will want a lot of Shadow resist gear for Lucifron, Gehenass, etc too.

Nah, Benim earned the title of Mr. Facedown. I witnessed it...it was ugly. He actually died more than I did!
