  11. Thunder crackled in the air as the Elements conferred with Uglutz, the crowd of Horde was hushed as everyone watched intently. The flames in the bonfire changing colors as herbs were thrown within. Maube watched intently as pictures formed within the dancing flames. Mesmerized she tapped Smedlock on the shoulder and pointed to the ground, eyes not leaving the pictures in the flames. Smedlock blinked, but set the mage on the ground. "Somethin be strange.." Maube held up a dainty hand, 'Hush Smed... don't you see it? In the Flames..." cautiously Maube slid forwards, eyes never leaving the bonfire. The Tauren blinked again and watched Maube go. "i dont see anything..." Was his reply, but Maube did not hear him. As she moved forwards, the remaining clan parted before her, but the Mage was oblivious. We are here Maube. We are here Child. The Spirits of the Elements. The Voice of the Clan. The Ancestors speak through us, and we have a test for you. Maube blinked, the moment lost as she straightened, almost directly ontop of the bonfire. The heat was intense and the sparks brushed her skin and hair without burning. Humility Maube. You may be a voice of power, but never forget those who have supported you as the Earth Supports all life. Visions of her first meeting with Volonazra flashed through her eyes, her cowed posture as she tried to avoid the savage distrusting Orc. Passion Maube. Bring the Clan back to their Glory, Enflame them with your passion and keep their hunger for Glory fed as the Flames in your camp. A smile tugged the Mage's lips as the reminder of the map in her chambers, the map to the Lair of Ragnaros, the foe her Clan was preparing to battle even now. Wisdom Maube. Be flexible and know when to be kind and when to be hard. As the gentle rain falls to nourish, the flood can wash all away. Hands clenching into fists Maube remembered the floods of her life that could destroy an entire harvest in one night, but without the rain there would be nothing. Her own dealings with the Clan were proof of that, tempered in fire and water. Honor Maube. Never forget those who have come before and those who will come after. Respect all around you, even when they treat others with less then desirable manners. Grow your roots, do not be a seed to be blown around on the slightest breeze. Maube stiffened, her resolve was growing stronger, but still at times she felt weak as a newborn kitten. She would be flexible, and she would bend when she had to, and be firm when the situation warrented it. Never an easy task... such would help her through the rest of her exsistance... A thought struck her as she stared unblinking into the flames... why was she of all Clanmembers being told these lessons... ### (( feel free to add your replies, during this exchange Maube is caught in a trance beside the bonfire, though she is the only one to hear the voices, unless you are a shaman Finale to come soon))
  12. Because Ug nub too smart =p readded all my color codes
  13. I could assign it Jero, but I want volunteers not nominations =p
  14. Due to some touchy pride on this... We need someone who comes week after week to step up and be the Healer Lead. Kalrash is great, but apparently we dont fuction as well if our Healer Lead isnt around week after week. Looking for Volunteers. Please. save my sanity before I throw this whole raid Into Magmadar's poo =p
  15. being that it was posted on the Policies and Procedures I was just letting folks know what the policy is on Shadow Priests. That there will be a limit on how many make it into the raid. not once did I say 'Spec out or you wont be coming' it is a matter of what is best for the raid. Hell we COULD have 12 warriors coming every week. Do we, no. I am to the point that if we all want to see Ragnaros go down, I have to be more picky on who makes the raid. I DID state however that I will try to rotate the shadow priests in and out to try and keep it fair for everyone. Please dont dwell on the negatives people. I am bending over backwards to try to keep people happy, and some people dont want to bend with me which makes it a lot harder =p I am not a very limber person. damn Polish Genes. I keep all my raid policys out in the open, I COULD have just not moved folsk into the raid and not explained myself, many raid leaders do just that. That being said, if this discussion wants to continue, please start another thread as this is the Raid Leader's Thread for MOLTEN CORE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. Thank you, Maube
  16. You can show up, I put the signup just for those people who dont check the forums but check the signups =p
  17. The boots are not a priority Grimgor. I have a friend who can make them as well, but they are not a priority. Smedlock can make everything but the Boots and that is enough for me at this point in time.
  18. Oh and my comment about Imp Fort... People were being told last night that 'Oh I cant fort you because I dont have the improved fort' I am frazzled due to sleeping pills and having a plain ole ######ty week =p the train of my thought isnt obvious to everyone and I apologize for your lack of being able to read my mind
  19. Okay listen folks. I played a Shadow Priest in the Core. I was put on the Main Tank as a Shadow Priest. That raid had 4 shadow priests. That raid was stuck on Magmadar for weeks, stuck on Garr for weeks, can barely take Sulfuron down NOW. As a priest in the Sulfuron encounter when WWs tried to have 2 shadowpriests doing the dispelling we failed due to lack of Mana and efficiency. they put a holy and a disc priest on the dispells and we succeeded but not without difficulty. Allentrace with 8k mana runs out of mana before the second priest is down, I run out faster because I dont have the mana pool. When I saw that in the smaller instances it was taking us longer to get through BECAUSE of my spec I said you know what, I rolled this priest to help the guild out, so I respecced to Discipine. You can play shadow. However, I want to proceed past MC, and I know that 4 shadows are not going to cut it in BWL and I KNOW that 4 shadow priests means NAxx is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past our abilties and gear. I am not telling anyone to respec. I am saying as Raid Leader, I would rather have a resto druid or Shaman (which we have a lot of folks respeccing to to help the raid as a whole) then that 4th shadow priest. I never said I will not bring a Shadow priest into the Core, HOWEVER I said I would limit the amount who come week after week. I never said the Shadow Priests werent doing there job. All I said is that I want the raid to progress and the ability to get MC down to one night a week. And that is going to require myself rotating folks in and out to try and be as fair as possible. For all the people that complain to the THREE, count that THREE mages who come about Arcane Intellect, I spent most of last night Without Fortitude. Only one of hte mages is really able to buff anytime any where because verissi is master looter and I am trying to look ahead and keep everything moving. We wouldnt have gotten ANYWHERE if Alhazad and Greenbull refused to play Protection. As it stands we do have too many warriors, I would LOVE to have more Mages/Warlocks/Hunters for the ranged DPS, but before we got past Geddon we had a helluvah hard time filling the raid, 80% of these folks dealth with massive repair bills to learn Geddon.
  20. Such a Generous Soul...
  21. Alrighty Guys I really hate to do this, but I need to limit the amount of shadow priests in the Core. If you dont get bumped into the Raid one week, I will try to cycle you in and out. I am not here to tell you how to play your classes, however 4 shadow priests is draining on the priest or priests that come with improved Fort and Spirit.
  22. The Orcs and Tauren towered over her, occasionally glancing her way. Unlike many of the Forsakken, Maube did not shy away from being included in the pack. many of the Clan's forsakken were still unsure of their standing among the Clan, and stayed off to one side, segregating themselves. Maube however, did not let the larger of her allies push her around. There was respect there, for her and her abilities, but Maube did not let it go to her head, much. Nearing the base of the tower, she found herself behind a wall of large Tauren. her slight frame made it hard to peek between the heavily muscled bodies and brute force was out of the question. Tapping one on the hip she sought his attention. "Scuze me Mistah Moo, ah ken't see!" A wide grin settled across her face as the Tauren turned and Maube recognized Smedlock. The Tauren warrior winked and then swooped down to hoist the lithe mage onto his shoulder. "Better?" Maube laughed and scritched him behind an ear. "Indeed Smedders, glad ah up here an not down dere... I know Uglutz was makin cabbage soup fer lunch!" The Tauren warrior chuckled then turned his attention to the base of the tower. Maube rested a small hand on Smedlock's horn as she watched the proceedings. Uglutz was dancing around a bonfire, Totems springing up around him as the elements began to answer the Shaman's calls. Sparks swirled upwards from the massive bonfire glittering like fireflies in the dusky air. The orc's chants were soft, occasionally punctuaed with a harsh syllable. As Maube watched, she realized the Elders were standing to the back, barely touched upon by the light of the fire. Muru, Gordantell, Huato, Grawuulf. Her friends and companions these past seasons. It seemed so strange that Volonazra wasnt standing there, cowled, his blood red eyes watching the proceedings... but Maube felt his presence, a whispering in the air that was deeper then the songs of the Elements. The new Chieftan would rise to power, with the blessing of the old Orc.
