  1. Work really gets in the way of UO *mutters about wishing for a big Lotto win and wanders off*
  2. Ok, armour is a bit harder to grasp than the weapons. Again, I used a Legendary Smith on Test Center to make these items. I started out testing with ring gloves to eliminate as much variation as i could. I tested the ring, chain, and plate tunics and they supported my conclusions so far. All items were made with Exceptional quality. Results:(Physical, Fire, cold, poison, energy, other) Iron 4, 4, 2, 5, 6 5, 5, 3, 5, 3 4, 5, 1, 6, 5 4, 3, 1, 8, 5 Conclusion: Irion supplies a total of 21 points to total resistance in varying degrees across the board. Cold seems to get a consistantly weak rating. *note testing done by Jacob Moon of LS* Dull Copper: 11, 2, 4, 6, 4, 20% lower requirements 11, 5, 1, 6, 4, 20% lower requirements 9, 5, 2, 8, 3, 20% lower requirements Conclusion: Dull Copper gives 20% lower requirements and a total of 27 resistance, spread across the board. Physical seems to get a consistently high rating, and cold still seems to suffer most of the time. Shadow: 6, 6, 2, 5, 10 6, 7, 3, 5, 8 6, 4, 2, 9, 8 Conclusion: Shadow gives a total of 29 resistance. Shadow is particularly strong against Energy, Weak against cold. Copper: 7, 5, 2, 11, 5 4, 4, 3, 11, 8 5, 4, 3, 12, 6 Conclusion: Copper gives a total of 30 resistance. Coopper is very stron against poison and weak against cold Bronze: 7, 3, 8, 7, 6 6, 5, 8, 8, 4 8, 3, 6, 8, 6 Conclusion: Bronze gives a total of 31 resistance and is by far the best against cold attacks. It is also one of the most evenly spread. Gold: 5, 4, 5, 6, 7, 40 Luck, 30% lower requirements 5, 5, 4, 6, 7, 40 Luck, 30% lower requirements 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 40 Luck, 30% lower requirements Conclusion: Gold only gives 27 total resistance(equivilent to dull) and seems very consistant with the dispersement, particularyl posion and energy. That could be to a small sampling though. It makes up for the low total with a lot of luck and 30% lower requirements. Agapite: 6, 8, 3, 8, 7 6, 8, 4, 7, 7 8, 7, 3, 8, 6 Conclusion: Agapite gives 32 total resistance. Verite: 7, 8, 3, 8, 7 8, 7, 5, 8, 5 7, 6, 5, 9, 6 Conclusion: Verite gives 33 total resistance. Valorite: 8, 5, 5, 9, 7 9, 3, 6, 8, 8 7, 3, 5, 11, 8 Conclusion: Valorite gives the most total resistance with 34. It is strongest against poison and weakest against Fire it seems that each individual resistance has a set range that its rating must fall in. Which means don't bother looking for a Verite piece of armour with 29 physical and 1s in the rest.
  3. Exceptional Quality gives any weapon a 20% damage increase Iron = 100% Physical Damage Copper = 100% Physical, 50% Lower Requirements Shadow = 80% Physical, 20% Cold Copper = 70% Physical, 10% Poison, 20% Energy Bronze = 60% Physical, 40% Fire Gold = 100% Physical, +40 to Luck, 50% Lower Requirements Agapite = 50% Physical, 30% Cold, 20% Energy Verite = 40% Physical, 40% Poison, 20% Energy Valorite = 40% Physical, 10% Fire, 20% Cold, 10% Poison, 20% Energy. All numbers come from the AoS Test Server, Using a Legendary Smith with a standard Smith Hammer. *research done by Jacob Moon of LS*

If you have any difficulty receiving this patch, please check the following: Check the "Patch" directory within your Ultima Online directory (the default location is C:\\Program Files\Ultima Online\Patch). This directory should be empty. Any files in this directory should be deleted. If you are unable to connect to the patch server at all, and are using an original (Non-T2A) version of Ultima Online, you may need to update your verinfo file. For details on updating this file, please see the information posted at http://support.uo.com/tech_6.html. Run a virus scan on your computer. Undetected viruses may cause conflicts with patching Ultima Online. For information on up-to-date virus detection software, please visit http://www.mcafee.com/myapps/vso/default.asp. If after trying the above, you are still experiencing difficulty patching the Ultima Online client, please visit this web page.
  5. Some players who pre-ordered UO:AoS have been experiencing difficulties in collecting their Hooded Shroud of Shadows. We are aware of this, and want to reassure everyone that if you are supposed to receive a Hooded Shroud of Shadows, you will receive one. Please read this post carefully before contacting a Game Master on any Shroud-related issues! Please note: The Hooded Shroud of Shadows promotion is only valid for customers who preordered or purchased Age of Shadows prior to February 11, 2003 from one of the following vendors: EBGames, Gamestop, Amazon.com, and the EA Online Store. Also, the Shroud redemption code is only valid for one Shroud per UO:AoS account (not one per character). If you pre-ordered Age of Shadows but did not receive a redemption code from your retailer: You’re not out of luck. You should be able to collect the proper code by contacting your retailer. If you run into any trouble there, please have your receipt ready for verification and contact our Account Support staff at 866-543-5435 (option 2, then 1). International callers, please use 512-434-6740 (option 2) instead. Our staff will assist you in collecting your Shroud. We’ll try to get your Shroud to you as soon as possible, but please understand we may not be able to do so immediately. If you redeemed your code, but never received your Shroud: It’s possible that you either entered your code before you upgraded your account to Age of Shadows, or that you entered the game immediately after upgrading and entered your code before the registration data reached the shard – making it think you were still not upgraded to AoS. In either of these cases, here’s what to do: make sure you have upgraded to AoS, then wait at least 30 minutes for the account servers to pass the information to the game servers. Then simply log out, log back in, and repeat the original redemption process in order to collect your Shroud. If you received an error message telling you the code was not valid, or was already used: First, you’ll want to re-type your code to make sure you’ve typed it accurately. Make sure caps lock is off! If that doesn’t work, make sure you have upgraded to AoS, then wait at least 30 minutes for the account servers to pass the information to the game servers. Then simply log out, log back in, and repeat the original redemption process in order to collect your Shroud. If none of that works, and you’re positive you’ve used the right code, and you haven’t tried to use that code on any other character (remember those codes only offer one Shroud per AoS-enabled account, not per character)… then we ask you to call a GM*, and they’ll help you get your Shroud. If you upgrade to AoS from an existing account: You will also get your Shroud. It may take a few minutes for the billing system to pass that upgrade status along to the game servers. If you upgrade and log in immediately, you may not be able to collect the Shroud right away. There’s no need to worry. Please wait 30 minutes, log out and back in again, and attempt to claim your Shroud. If you claimed a shroud, but a Shard went down and your Shroud was lost in a time warp: Don’t worry; we can help here too! We have ways of verifying that a code was used, and we also are able to tell whether a player’s character has ever received a shroud. So if you have lost a Shroud through a time-warp on a shard, please call a GM*. And remember – since we have ways of telling whether a character has ever received a Shroud, we do not encourage players to make false claims about lost Shrouds. With the amount of calls we are answering currently, it’s important that players not take up GM time with false claims; therefore, any player found to be attempting to obtain more than one Shroud on an account may find their accounts disciplined accordingly. *Keep in mind that our current support call volume (both on the phones, and in-game) is extremely high, so any player attempting to call our support teams should be prepared for up to several hours’ wait. Players may collect their Shrouds until March 31st on the North American and Asia-Pacific shards – so if you experience delays in reaching support (phone or in-game), we highly encourage you to wait a few days for our call volume to drop somewhat. Waiting a few days (provided you do not wait past March 31st) will not affect your ability to get the Shroud, and might save you a few hours’ time!
  6. Aye Lora is the largest reason we got what she did. I informed her of where Borg wanted plots droped and she raced in and snatched em up then got the rest of us there to do the same for others. PGoH Rules. We fought the good fight and won this time *cheers*
  7. And now Wolf who just palced a small behind you!
  8. No need for thanks. Now if you guys with large houses can only find the owners of the other large houses within Honor City or Safe Haven (Borg is figuring out the name) and initiate contact to see what it would take for them to switch we can see about making that reality come true.
  9. I hear Doom is not a place to wander alone. Be prepared to die.
  10. Taken from something Sanio posted: Changes should be in effect after shard maintenance. WHich means by the time you guys read this it should have happened.
  11. Are you saying that nothing which is locked down will be safe from being unlocked? That blows away my museum if this is true. Much of what I will try and display will be rares (at least the ones I have left) so that everyone can see what made up a big part of uo the first 5 years. *huphs* I hope I misread what you are saying there!
  12. Well Ill have mine tommorow Estimated Delivery Date 02/12/2003 by 12:00 Left KY at 15.30 this afternoon woot! With luck Ill be able to place tommorow last of my days off for 6 bloody days. But lots of time to explore next wed thru Sun so I guess it will all work out.
  13. I can attend as one of many character templates time and date and, , I mean lovely pregnant wife permitting!
  14. However if you have anatomy and eval int. it counts like wrestling as far as dodging hits goes.
  15. 120 Magery (currently 107 can go to 115) 120 Eval Int (currently 110 and capped) 110 Med (110) 110 Resist (105 can go to 110 or 115) 100 Anatomy (0) 100 Swords (90) 60 Tactics (0) I will however drop swords to 60 and take tactics to 100 if the weapons that allow a mage to use magery skill as the weapon skill are abundant. Thoughts? Should I get tactics to 100 and swords only to 60?
  16. This forum is intended for the posting of charts, questions and methods for working skills in Ultima. If you are posting a chart please contact me first so I can ensure that the file being accessed can be put in a place that wont change so we won't get any broken links.
  17. Unlikely I will make this one......I work tommorow (my Friday this week wooohooo) I will however spend some time mining this week and pledge 3000 iron ingots to the guild deposited within the Port Authority Stockpiles prior to 2/11
  18. H&R Block for me I dont need to throw things at the walls reading the convoluted forms.
  19. Im willing to bet it comes of that bad azz summoned daemon.
  20. Ohhhhh Nice! Perhpas for people to play with different templates while not completely destroying a character. Pretty cool idea!
  21. Yes, it was, but even more disturbing is the fact that you did not deny the validity of the statement Muhahahaah
