  1. Glad you guys got in! *bonks*
  2. Okay, is this a boss? After completing SSC for the LAST time, we had a little fun in Hyjal. Rage Winterchill went down quicker than Harne's Mom on my.... ummm... yeah. ;p Now to finish TK. We're not going anywhere else till Kael is dead! We're coming for you, KAEL! Oh, and Perf! Draegloth got Sea-Witch! HAHA! ;p
  3. At this point and time, we dont have a set time for PvP. We will often all band together when folks get the bug, though. Honestly, I would try to get something going this weekend, but Im moving and most of my attention will be there. If someone else wants to throw together a group, feel free! If you dont pvp much, I would suggest running into either EotS or AV, as they are much more friendly when you're new, imo.
  4. We're aware of that Kalea. However, in most cases, the gear people are waiting for will be very quickly replaced in one way or another. Completing sets is no longer really necessary for upward movement in raid instances, especially with the oddities in itemization these days. The only real argument for continuing to farm SSC/TK is for some of the high-end pieces that only drop in one place - Sea-Witch robes and the belt I got, for example. Realistically, we can easily move up into Hyjal without a hiccup... we will kill the two big bosses a few times, then move on to bigger and better things. T6 > T5 in most cases, anyway.
  5. Very little has been released about the S4 stuff, and what little we have is information that has been data mined. AKA = we don't really know anything. As for the graphics, its all gonna be variations on the Sunwell Armor from what they can *guess*.
  6. Totally agree here. Its gonna give you another way to live in many of the fights in there, especially for the clothies. Make sure you are working on your BT attunement quest! Here is a little more info: (Quoted from WoWWiki:) That Medallion is a crucial and easy way to get part of the shadow resist we NEED to easily crush the bosses in Hyjal up to Archimonde. You NEED to be at the point where you need to speak to Olum in FL Karathress' room by NEXT TUESDAY. Please ask for help if you need it! Help us conquer Hyjal efficiently and quickly!
  7. Sounds good, Molox! So I can help see where opportunities may be, which spec were you thinking about playing? It will take a little while to get geared up, as you mentioned, but there is a crapton of shaman gear of all sorts lying about - esp with badges, so its not hard to be viable. RAWR!
  8. WATCH THE DAMN VIDEO! KNOW YOUR DAMN ROLE! *cracks the whip* Goal for Thursday: At least get the weapons grouped properly in phase 2. Goal that will make Bar crap his pants: Getting through phase 3. See ya bums Thursday!
  9. Bah! It was "torrent" porn, and was merely an excuse for bad framerate. Me iz nub pervert like Perf! *Scratches the kitty at the door to his tent behind the ears* Time for a nap... *passes out*
  10. You have an interesting name, Nawtay, but I like your style! Welcome to the clan! *pulls your tail* As the official clan lootwhore, I would ask that you deposit all your shinies at the door to my tent no later than 9 PM tonight. Failure to do so will result in extra swigs from the PEETUB at your indoctrination, should you make it that far! We're gaining more new people lately, many who are still looking to improve themselves. If you're looking to achieve a certain goal, please feel free to post about it so we know what/when/where. You can also find a list of raid/events going on stickied at the top of the "wartent" section in this skypage. Be patient and dont be shy about asking for help! WELCOME! Baracko Elder of Conquest Clan Lootwhore
  11. Miss ya, Ky! Stay strong out there! ;p
  12. me too, Holy, me too. *grins evilly*
  13. Well spoken, Toldar. Many of us are spent on organizing things. If you want it, feel free to start it up. If its a important event to folks, they'll show up if they have the time. Piney, we are not solely an RP guild, nor is it our primary focus. The best way to describe Clan Skullcrusher: An online family who enjoys the each other's company in whatever their endeavours may be. Some focus on pvp, some raiding, some RP. The blessing and the curse is doing a little bit of everything and that schedules/necessity don't always match. Our "focus" is determined by what the majority of our members are interested in at the time. At this point and time, it just happens to be raiding. There have been times where we didnt raid AT ALL and pvp'd more or spent more time running random stuff. (( This is directed at no one in particular )) If you want to do something, dont just stand there and pout. If there is not room in what is already going on, then make your own! If that isn't something you feel you can do, then feel free to ask for help in finding an activity. Personally,I know of tons of groups that are looking for folks. I cannot guarantee they'll take you, but Ill help you make contact. That reputation has come from all facets. Take Takaas' post about Calandor in this same forum. Gone are the days where a guild can be an island unto itself. There are too many options for players to make this feasible. Each of us have different goals we wish to accomplish ingame, and some need the help of folks outside to achieve those goals. You can be loyal to your clan and still work with others.
  14. Greetings, Ahksar!, and welcome! Judging by what Ive seen, I think another Gruul/Mags would be the next logical step. Many folks have been looking for an opportunity to get their feet wet in 25 mans, and alot of useful mechanics are taught in those battles. If you look at the top of the Wartent page, there is a listing of events throughout the week so you can double check against the schedule. I try to keep it as updated as possible. Im not sure that there will be enough to do it solely in guild, so if you would like to use the signup page to help organize, just let an elder know. Also, I know that Brainah was starting another Gruul/Mags, so you two might want to pool your resources together.
  15. Im going to have to agree here. Heaven knows I biased, as raiding is really my main focus. Think about it like this, though. It takes much time/effort to prepare for the raids, moreso for the leaders. While I understand the idea of events being mandatory in principle, remember that we all play for fun and not for a job. Some of us choose to spend our time raiding, and I dont think we should be penalized for that. Many of the "raiders" in our guild also have limited time to play too, so we make priorities in regards to what is fun to us. I think the best thing you can do is set an event time, promote it heavily and see who shows up. Considering how many people are involved in the "Big Raid", I would suggest not doing it on Tuesday/Thursday. Beyond that, its a member's *choice* to show or not to show. I don't think there is a "raiding" member of the guild who doesnt want to get to know everyone better. It really comes down to how much time they have to get to know each other outside of the RL responsibilities.
  16. Considering how many are involved in the Tuesday/Thursday raid, I would suggest Weds or Friday. Maybe just make it dependent on what the folks who show up on those nights need? Ill try to come when I can. Weds and Friday nights are often my "catch up on peronal stuff/try to have a social life" nights.
  17. After three weeks of toiling, the queen ***** is finally dead. Cause of death: Incredible execution by our team! Words cannot describe how proud we are! Bring on Kael'Thas! FOR HARNE'S MOM!!! (( She is SO sweet! ;p )) Congratulations to all those who got loot!!
  18. Good Call, Holy! *goes off to check if his addons for Firefox are up to date*
  19. Kick butt out there, Angela! We're gonna miss ya!
  20. Happy Birthday, flirty!
  21. I hadnt heard that you were looking to use the signup page. Honestly, no one has used it in a long time. Im sure we can get you access, should you still want it.
  22. For those of you who refuse to use mods, here is some food for thought: Quote from: Drysc "No, I think we assume that those who are working on the extreme endgame PvE content are going to be doing anything they can in order to help increase their chances for success. By both embracing the UI mod community and their addons, as well as assuming that players are going to be using them to great effect versus our encounters, we have to design encounters that assume their use or the encounter is trivialized by those on vent, those with a countdown, those with a threat meter, etc. Once a lot of the guess work is removed with mods we have to raise the complexity beyond what a mod can purely assist with. I think at this point we're forced to assume everyone is using mods to great effect versus our design complexity, which in turn forces everyone to use those mods. It's probably somewhat debatable what mods are required and where, but it's certain that we have to take them into account, lest the game be trivialized. UI Mods have become an integral part of the game for many players, and we've been extremely pleased with the amount of customization and information they're able to provide. We're continually working to assess and implement new UI features, many of which have come straight from the community, to help ensure that the default UI is as full featured as possible while remaining uncluttered, clean, attractive, and easily approached." -------- I think I can speak very surely when I say that Vashj is one of the more difficult encounters in the game, necessitating the use of mods. Heck... Morogrim, Lurker, Leo... all of them would be much much harder without them, and would test even more that patience of casuals with limited raid time.
  23. Your hard work has paid off! Kael'Thas dies again! Grats to Waldy who won TWO rolls in one SINGLE INSTANCE! ZOMG! ;p (( The world is coming to an end... repent now! ;p))
  24. We mentioned it last night, but Im going to say it again: If you use Ace mods, get the WoWAceUpdater! Its an application that will AUTOMATICALLY update everyone of your installed ace mods (and some that are not) quick and efficient, even on patch day. I did *three* updates throughout the day, and none of them lasted more than a minute for all the mods. As soon as the patch insanity is over, Ill post a link directly to the application, and with Waldys help, instructions as well. - Bar
  25. Thats a beautiful bunch of kids, Aleis!
