In response to the whole thread on the PTR forums, one poster said: "Now that's a raid I could get into. LFM cross-faction, town destroying godzilla raids." I have to agree with this guy. I thought Kazzak being unleashed on towns during a previous event was fantastic.

After a revolving door of healers, trying to find the right mix, we have finally succeeded. Getting close to three boxes, too! Also, during the fight, I gave birth to a former love interest of Uglutz... Two Ton Tina LIVES! PUSH! PUSH!

Nah.... We're still going to want to conquer it. Plus, we COULD NOT walk into Hyjal right now with the gear we have and expect to win. We'll just enjoy the instances and continue to work.

I just want to echo what Calendar said: Last night was awesome! Three hours of "Pounding Vaj" will give us alot of time to work on things! SHOW UP PREPARED! 1. Watch the instructional video. 2. BRING CONSUMABLES. Flasks are best as we will probably wipe a few times, and you dont want to have to replace an elixir every time. Food buffs too! 3. Be prepared to adapt and Agame. I also want to thank our backups as well, particularly Uglutz and Guilozak. They both are almost always available at a moments notice, and have given unselfishly of their time to help us. - Bar, your slavedriver

Folks, we are reaching the point where everything needs to be maxxed, and Kailand is on the right track. Things that must be done: 1. You need to have the best blue gems you can get for yourself in each of your items. 2. If you are not yet running BigWigs, get it before Thursday. EVERYONE in the raid should be running this. 3. Enchants should be up to speed. With the exception of a few of them, most are not that expensive to get and every little bit counts. When we hit that last 50% of Vashj's health, we're going to need squeeze every bit of dps/healing out of ourselves to get her down in time. Even minor upgrades will be helpful! Adding up all those minor upgrades across the raid means a big upgrade for the raid as a whole. If you think we're squeezing the max out of ourselves now, watch THIS

Its looking like we're headed toward Leo. Probably about 75% sure. We need everyone to do the following: 1. Make sure you're gemmed as high as possible. You should not have ANY green gems anymore. 2. Think about the little things on the death attempts and make sure we recreate them. To get through all of SSC, we're going to need to one-shot bosses on a regular basis. This will come more with time and gear - for now, we need to Agame all the time to make it happen. 3. Be prepared - consumables, reading up, etc. Knowledge of the fight makes a huge difference. Knowing is literally half the battle. Leo is a bit technical, but not that hard a fight. Know your role ahead of time to make our attempts much more fruitful. Lets get 3 bosses down this coming Tuesday! - Baracko, your lootwhore and slavedriver.

A coupla notes about last night: 1. We're going to have up and down nights. PLEASE do not get discouraged! We have a talented group, but that doesnt mean we're perfect. 2. Oftentimes as raid leaders, its our job to motivate in one form or another. No one means any ill will, and all is usually forgotten after the raid. 3. Do whatever is necessary to limit deaths on boss fights. Almost every boss fight from here on out require nearly 25 people up to be successful. If you died a ton last night, try to think/reason out why and do what you must to fix it. 4. High dps is a good thing, but not when you pull aggro. Otherwise, good recovery from a tough start. Im not going to be there Thursday due to a business trip, but I plan to hear success stories on Hydross when I log in later that night.
