The Shattered Halls key is obtained, to the best of my knowledge, through revered status with Thrallmar. I think Sporregar rep is needed for the coilfang one, while killing the last boss in Sethekkk Halls will net each raider in the group the key for the final Auchindoun instance. One strategy we could employ we be to have the rogues get to 350 skill and unlock the shattered halls door for us. Rep can be gained in there till exhaulted, while the only way to progress from honored to revered at this time seems to be through the fortification quest which yielded very little rep per turnin at honored. Verissi is working on some other ideas, I think, but at the moment this is the best we have.

I dont know about you other shaman, but I have been stealing aggro left and right, even in boss fights. Many of the old aggro gain abilities for tanks have been inconsistently working or being overpowered by crits generated by WF. As many of you know, I previously used daggers for DW, but switched to axes to increase total dps. After grabbing The Stalker's Fangs from the Underbog last weekend, I tried using that with my old tried and true Fang of the Faceless against bosses last night in Underbog again. It worked great! Averages dps is still very good, but the daggers do not generate nearly the level of crits that steal aggro from our warrior and druid friends that axes do. Moral of the story: Save one or two of the multitude of daggers you get from quests and use them in boss fights. Stealing aggro isnt much of an issue on trash, but your tanks and healers will thank you come boss time. - Your Shaman Warmonger

I dont know about you all, but I would like to see everything possible. The first place to start, then, would be for a few of us to get the Shattered Halls Key. I know rogues with 350 skill can pick the door, but the rest of us will need another method in. The bosses drop some nice stuff, too! We had a blast this past Sunday morning running the quest umpteen times. Unfortunately, after doing some reading, this appears to be the only way to get to revered. If we had known, we coulda saved all our quest turn -ins till we were honored, but who wanted to do that... I guess its grind time! Im gonna try to be there again Sunday morning... if anyone else wants to get in 20 or so runs, just let me know.

Im gonna push scyers when I can... the enchants are very nice! I think Kharazan would be an interesting push, Relikk! I hear the quest chain starts around that area, so maybe we need to investigate!

Isn't it fun, Relikk? Its great at first, and even better when you are successful, but I know I have found (and Im sure Maube too) that I am enjoying the break from raid-leading for a time. I am planning on getting the Magtheridon run together as soon as we are capable as a guild, and looking forward to getting back together with a common goal as a guild. It sounds like that is the first thing we can do... Lady Vashj has me intrigued as well... so much to do and take part in. ((gah... we gotta quit hijacking threads! ))

Netheara answered: They do scale slightly to be higher than the highest level player in the instance but it should not change the dynamic too much. Players (of higher levels) would probably still be able to go into these instances with lessor numbers than usual to engage in these encounters and be successful. ----------------------------- Thought this might be interesting, as we plan to still check out the other instances we "missed"...

I will be dissapointed with any split, as AD is my home and there are so many people outside the guild that I would hate to lose contact with. Lately, I havent noticed the queue's. Im not sure if Im just logging on at the right times or what. The lag is definitely rough, though. Either way, if we can keep the family together, then we are doing the best we can. Hopefully, we will be able to transfer to a server with a little more balance and a good time slot. Frankly, the idea of moving to a PST server like they are offering just isnt appealing. Its unfortunate that it has to come to this. Thanks for the update, Maube!
