Honestly, I have taken to calling out HP percentages once Rag's is near death, and I have no earthly explanation why *marks something down on his list of things not to do* And no, you leaving early is not a problem. Later on when we get to Jindo, I would actaully like to attack him first while everyone is on their toes. Furthermore, I believe you're next in line for some turtle love. I havent laughed that much on an MC raid in quite some time! Furthermore, proving that last week's killing of Ragnaros was no fluke made for an even better feeling! Although we had a great time last night, I felt it important to make an observation. We really had too much chatter during boss fights. It was blatently apparent in the Ony fight especially. There will be no names mentioned except my own, because I know Im guilty. I love to cut up and have a good time, and I sometimes have a tendency to prattle. But I need to remember that there is one MC raid leader, and we need to follow her lead. We have made so much improvement in such a short period of time! Oki, listen up you maggots! Lats ben ‘sitting on dem bums too long! It be high time we clomp da tar straight out dose trolls en Zul ‘Gurub. Vruglutz da pushdug and Baracko da lootwhore tak a group in dere to clomp soon, but latz mus follo da rulz! (( Okay, so there has been a lot of talk of starting new raids, but often there is night conflictions, whether it be due to other raids or work. Therefore, we have taken it upon ourselves to set up another ZG raid on Monday night to help people get more exposure and to grow their characters. We realize there are other raids, but there are also more than enough ‘Crushers to go around. We will be team-leading this raid because we can’t always commit to being there. Our goal: to farm the heck out of the place while still having a good time. Most of the bosses are very manageable, even if you don’t have purple gear. Ultimately, we want to regularly take down Hakkar and Jindo. To this end, here are the rules of the raid: 1. Be prepared to wipe a time or two! Most of us are experienced enough to make it through the first few bosses with no hiccups, but many of our clan are still new to raiding. They need to learn too, just as we all did. 2. No whining about loot! We will always quickly discuss who has the greater need and distribute as such, but the ‘Crushers started out as a group willing to help others before themselves, and we intend to continue that trend here. Any disrespect towards others during the raid will get you booted and replaced, no questions asked. 3. Vruglutz and I are leading the raid, unless we denote another for the evening due to scheduling. If you have any suggestions or ideas, post them, email them, or offer them up IF we ask for help. Otherwise, keep them to yourself till after the raid. We’re not there to discuss or argue – we’re there to clomp. 4. Be prepared to have a good time! We’re in this to have fun, and ZG is one of our favorite instances. If you don’t want to have a good time, don’t sign up. This raid is being run in addition to the others, and we realize there may be some overlap. This is an opportunity for everyone to get a shot at the smaller raids. Feel free to sign up for the ones that most suit your goals and personal time. We will run the raid till between 11 and 12 PM server time depending on the pulse of the raid and our level of success. Ultimately, the number of bosses we take down in a night will be determined by the same. Also, Vruglutz and I will take turns leading the raid, but no more than one person will be in charge on a given night to reduce confusion. )) Welp, that about wraps it up! If any of you are late-nighters, Ill be available to help you all after 12:00 AM for a few hours. If we can get enough together, Ill gladly go kill whatever you need. Also, I have been very successful in achieving my goals lately thanks to many of you. With that in mind, Im easing off on pursuing anything else at this point and am going to focus on getting others up to speed. Youll probably see me farming in Silithus for runecloth alot, as the only thing Im still working on is the long struggle to exalted with Org for my wolf, and I will gladly stop that whenever to help another! <begin sarcasm> I am going to go out on a limb and assume that this post does not apply to me, the supreme lord of the loot. (Sorry Huato... Im ripping my mojo back, and you shall not have it again!) My sole purpose is to whore loot and to show it off to all that will view it in its supreme glory. Most especially, it must be displayed in areas often viewed by Vruglutz to prove my leetness. The whole point of raiding is for me to get loot, and thats that. Baracko, the lurking lootwhore from hell, complete with recovered mojo <end sarcasm> I feel the "pull of the shiney" as much as any *twitches*, but Ive had to learn in my 60's to be more careful. Gone are the days when you grew out of a set of gear in 2 days. My advice: plan your loot. *twitches* Decide in advance what things you are looking for and focus and hope for those. If they drop, bid...if they do not, let someone else who was planning on the item bid, win, and cheer them for it. *twitch, twitch* Remember, the better geared the whole raid, the easier and more fun it will be to get through it next time. Another thought: I have seen issues of loot destroy raids. No raid = no loot. This is the best MC run on the server in my opinion! Enjoy the comradery, the challenge, and accomplishment and let the loot come. How many raids can you go on where almost 40 people are all laughing all the time? *twitches* Third and finally, remember that some roleplay loot-freaks, so dont necessarily think that person doesnt want you to have it. Some of us roll on everything as a matter of principle with no intention of picking it up. (*still thinks he coulda wore those Cenarion gloves...*glances at Maube*) That being said, Im damn proud to run with you all, and plan on helping Rags kiss the floor real soon. Hey there, everyone! Unfortunately, I must pull out of MC tonight (sorry Gordan! its not my fault!) I have had the worst weekend! Last friday morning, I awoke to fire alarms and pounding. After grabbing the few things I could fit in my pockets and putting on a shirt and fliflops, I ran outside to find the apartment above mine in a blaze. Over the next hour, the fire department tried to put the blaze out. Somehow, my apartment didnt burn, but it got massively flooded, and much damage was incurred. With all this in mind, Ive moved everything I own twice in the past 4 days, and I will be moving today again (hopefully for the final time). My computer iis destroyed as it got soaked, hence no MC for me! It may be a few weeks before I can play again, but hopefully the insurance company will renumerate me well, and I can build a better system!
