Wouldn't that be 'as much as dragonly possible'? *runs* No, not really. Onyxia has a day job as a regent, steward, whatever of the boy-king in Stormwind, for which she adopts the guise of a human. Kind of a Mrs. Doubtfire thing, without the overtones of parental affection.

I have acheived my goal of recommending myself as sufficienty caring of Tauren culture and sensibilities that they are now willing to entrust their precious kodo to my care. I'd like to thank Ghules, Harne, Oriahtundra, Katakorintha and everyone else who contributed runecloth to this drive. I'd like to give special thanks to our Chieftan, Maube, and our respected Elder, Zuato. The two of you presented me with many, many stacks of runecloth, and kind words in the ears of Cairne and the elders of Thunder Bluff. I am in your debt.

I suspect that there would probably be some grumbling among the rogues if you took home a Core Hound's Tooth, at least in the next month, but I'd like to point out that I think all of the rogues that come to MC either already have Eshkandar, or are passing on it. If I'm recalling correctly, it's already gone to one warrior because no rogue placed a bid. I have to say, though, that I thought daggers and fists didn't work out well for warriors unless they were dual-wielding, which you wouldn't be, you'd be using a shield.

A lesson learned for me. It's not the deep breaths that are killer *though they sure aren't good for the raid* it's the transition to phase 3. I'd thought we were goners after the third deep breath, and was even more unhappy when she breathed AGAIN, but we still managed to take her with a lot less trouble than the first take-down.

What mage shortage? I've been seeing 3-4 since I started running MC with you guys. Our arcane power consists of you, Verissi, and then one to three from a floating pool, among whose members are Chrysalia, Xiris, Ziddi, and Ghules.

I had the same problem when I was joining the guild. I never did get an opportunity to provide our elders with the full text, though I've got it stored around here somewhere. Me be glad ta welkum lat as a nuw peon in da guild.

The problem is that we're going to have a fair number of trash mobs between us and Rags at that point. It's not just a few minutes running and a quick wipe at Rags, we'd have to fight to reach him. I know how tempting it is, and I can understand asking a "no pressure" question to see if everyone wants to try anyway, but a bunch of the people on the raid really do need to sleep. I know Marriana, who sometimes has work on raid nights, has been late more than once because she wanted to stay just 'til our normal cut-off.

Oh, then what's the bother? We'll probably only have one of them around to spend DKP in any particular raid anyway.

I've been considering rerolling my mage and hunter *they're Alliance-side, and on another server* over here, but I don't really want more Horde characters. I want to go back to playing them, but I don't have any desire to grind more people through the same zones and quests. Half of their allure is that they're working zones and interacting with NPCs who are still fresh and new for me.

Oh, something we probably should have warned you about before the raid. Our mages are REALLY testy when it comes to conjuring food and water. I've rather gotten the impression that their ability to do that pisses them off more than consecutive wipes. Joke with them at your peril. Maube, in particular, is fond of the /gkick command. *cowers*

Honestly, Maube, I don't much like the 1/2 price thing for alts, even when they're alts that we've requested the player bring *and yeah, I know, easy for me to say, my highest horde alt just hit 30* I don't see much to recommend tracking DKP by account over tracking by character or vice versa, the pros and cons for each seem to be fairly equal, but I think we really need to do one or the other. Compromising between them will buy us the worst of both.

I may be a total nub, but does it really matter if someone is hoarding their DKP? I can see it when a bunch of people are doing so, as that can lead to DEing stuff that actually is an upgrade for people, but I'm afraid I don't understand what the problem is otherwise.
