I thought I said something about "not wanting to drop 2k on an alienware!"

Ok everyone, as my new job has me travelling all over the country, I will need to get a gaming laptop if I wish to continue to play WoW on a regular basis. The laptop I have from my company is not even close to being able to run WoW. I know enough to purchase a good desktop, but am clueless when it comes to laptops. I would rather not drop $2k on an alienware laptop.....so what do ya'll suggest? I hate squinting my eyes, so a 17" is almost a must.

Well, I'm leaving California on my way to Texas now. Had a blast! Go Karts that go 50mph! FUN FUN! I did end up winning the grand prize with 6 other lucky co-workers!! We got to fly a Marquetti fighter jet! Very similar to a P51 Mustang! Imagine our shock when in the pre-fight briefing we found out we actually had to fly it! This wasn't any joy ride! Me and a few others were outside two fisting some cigarettes before the flight! You get up in the air and your instructor (sitting beside you to the right) lets go of the controls and says "It's all your's, you have the stick". WOAH! Yea, let me just say that its not like any flight sim! I barely touched the stick to the right and we ended up in a full blown roll/nose dive combo! Negative 2 G's is not exactly fun. I only threw up on my first trip twice (they have some nice little ralph bags beside your seat). The real fun begins after you do some basic maneuvers, flips, and barrel rolls. Then you are teamed up against one other of our group for dog fighting! We didn't have "missles" guns only. What a rush! There's nothing like pulling straight out of a nose dive and jerking that stick to an immediate barrel roll to get out of the line of fire! The key was to ensure you kept sight on the other plane! When it ended, myself and Lori (old trainee of mine) ended up with the most points! So we had to duke it out again for the final competition! Lori is one crazy ######! She kept her plan in a continuous vertical loop over and over while occasionally banking to the left. We ended up pulling 5.5 G's in that fight. Score on the final dogfight : Uglutz 6 wins, Lori 0 SNAP! Just call me Maverick! ((Did Maverick have little white bags of vomit rolling around in the cockpit with him?)) Anyhow, off to Texas! I have dvd's of the flight, if I ever figure out how I'll try to get some of it posted.

I'll be leaving today through Sunday for California for some Vacation. I leave directly from LA on Sunday to Austin TX until Thur. I should be home Fri/SAT Sunday I leave for the week in Cleveland. Sorry, but I won't be around! *twitches for his WoW fix* See ya'll when I get back!

I can hear great in Vent. But, half the time what I say doesn't go through Vent. I have to have the mic like .00003 centimeters from my mouth and scream into it in order to get it to go across. When I hit the mute button on my microphone, everyone screams "MY GOD THE PAIN MAKE IT STOP"! *shrugs*
