  1. Yep, I get less aggro without my enhance spec for some reason. I never thought I would go Elemental..... Anyhows....Elemental is great. CRAZY crits. Restoration is an absolute lifesaver, especially in raids. I can't even count the number of times Nature's Swiftness saved us from a wipe. I still do good melee damage suprisingly enough without any points in enhancement. Mana is normally not a problem unless I am in one of those larger fights. I normally have to be a tad bit conservative and not going full out on the heals , damage, or both. I'm very happy with my build. Especially since its so tough to find decent gear for an enhance spec shammy. Shammy is one of those lovely classes that I don't think it matters how you spec. Either one of the 3 talent lines is great, as long as you go down one of them at least most of the way.
  2. Fog encompassed the camp spreading an eerie bluish haze from the torches across Crusher Valley. A gust of wind blew through the valley spreading the fog in its wake. Despite the camp's outward appearance, the great hall was bustling with activity in the late evening hours. Chieftan Volonazra sat in council, planning the next day's objectives in the battle against the constant alliance attacks on Orgrimmar. Quietly in the corner, two orc's were arguing the finer points of grog with a tauren. The clan's chef, Blurp, was chasing some rats behind the grain hamper for an evening snack. The wind outside begain to increase in intensity as thunder let loose overhead. Several shaman began stiring uneasily in their seats, looking to the ceiling of the hall. Huato, elder shaman, jumped from his seat and ran to the chieftan's side. "Da spiritz ib uneasy. Me nub gruk wut dey blah'n.....but sumptin ib happenin" he whispered to the chief." Moments later, lightning struck the roof of the great hall; shattering iron, wood, and leather. Continuous blasts of lighting poured down from the clouds, striking the ground of the hall through the now open roof. A rush of commotion began both inside and outside the great hall. Gong's sounded around camp, sounding the call to arms. Grunts began rushing in a protective position around Crusher valley, ready to repel what they had believed was an obvious alliance attack on their stronghold. "Da spiritz blah dat dis nub an invazshun. Me still nub gruk wut dey blah'n it ib. Dey nub cleer" Huato shouted to the chieftan above the commotion. Sniffing the air, Volonazra began looking around the hall. "Me sensz sumptin. A presenz me hab nub felt sensz....." A shriek interrupted the cheiftan's thought and brought the hall to a near silence. Directly under the hole in the hall's ceiling was Maube, flattened under a slightly crisped orc. His facial features were hard to distinguish as his skin was charred black either from the lightning or from lack of bathing. Wisps of smoke rose from his body giving the impression it was more from the lightning, though the smell told another story. "Get off me you smelly lug!" screached Maube from under the orc. Brushing himself off, the orc stood up allowing Maube to catch her undead breath. "Shoosh deddie. Lat ib fine!" he replied. Those within the great hall starred at him in astonishment as some of the older members recognized who it was. "Uglutz!" cried the chieftan as he approached him, pating him on his smoking shoulder. "Hab ben many moonz dat lat hab ben gone! Wer hab lat ben?" Grinning at those around him, Uglutz walked over to a table and grabbed some grog. After draining the chipped gnome-skull mug, Uglutz began to speak. He told them of his journeys to distant lands at the direction of the spirits. Some laughed as he told his tale, some from drunkeness and some from the stupid things Uglutz had done. Volonazra rubbed his head deep in thought, and asked Uglutz if he could show them some of the places he had gone. Smiling, Uglutz pulled a dirty and stinky parchment from under his pants. The chief opened the parchment and chuckled. "Der ib map ob dat mountan me blah tu lat abowt. We kan get der if we follow dat der map" grinned Uglutz excitedly. Gordantell peered over the chief's shoulder to examine the map. Without a word he walked away trying not to laugh. The map had a crudely drawn triangle at the top labled "Muntun" with some squiggly lines from it around the parchment to where at the bottom was a smiley face labled "Uglutz". Puffing out his chest with pride, Uglutz crossed his arms as others began to examine the map, obviously impressed with his exquisite detailed accounting of his adventures. "Wen we goin bak der cheef? Der ib reechez beyond wut lat kan dreem ob! Mur shiniez den all ob uz can carry! We juzt follow wut me skribul...." In the corner, a few younger crushers mocked Uglutz's stupidity. Standing behind them, Huato put his hand on one of their shoulders. "Da uld vuduu-boss ib nub as tupid as latz tinkin." Grinning, Huato walked away. The celebration of Uglutz's return lasted well into the morning hours, as many of the crushers have an unusual ability to consume large amounts of grog. Sunlight began pouring down from the hole into the great hall. A few vultures could be seen circling overhead, thinking the stink coming from the area had to be from some rotting carcasses, rather from Maube. Retiring to his personal tent, Volonazra sat upon his pile of skins. As he rubbed the weariness from his eyes, Uglutz entered and closed the tent flaps. "Su, wer wuz lat?" asked Volonazra. "Me blah dat tu lat alredy!" Uglutz replied. Volonazra was silent, and continued to await an additional response. Sighing, Uglutz pulled another parchment from under his pants and handed it to the chief. "Me gut wut lat wunted frum dat pushdug nekromanzer. Me hunted hem all ober. Da muntunz, da see, agh eben thru da dark portal. But me fund it." Waving his hands on top the parchment, glyphs and runes began appearing written in the common tongue. It was obviously a magical scroll of some type that read as a book. Different glyphs appeared and dissapeared, only to be replaced by additional runes. "Su wut dem skribulz blah cheef?" asked Uglutz. "It beginz, 'Frum da darkness, frum da forrezt, me hab kum wit wordz ob warnin. Berin tokenz ob a struggle. An ordeel approachez swiftly, as a flok ob field crowz flyin blak acroz da sun'. It wuz skribul'd by Medivh!" grinned Volonazra. Smiling, Uglutz bowed to the chief, and began to exit his tent. "Uglutz, me happi tu hab lat bak." grinned Volonazra. "It ib gud tu be bak cheef!" smiled Uglutz.

    +22 Enchant

Well, the +22 enchant would be useful, but only until someone is able to do the +30 spellpower.
  5. I'm curious if any enchanter out there is wanting to perhaps go for the +22 int enchant? I wouldn't mind getting a team set up to hit BRD to mine for dark iron to push that person to revered to get that recipe. Would be real nice! Let me know what ya think.
  6. Ok... I felt really bad for Katachunkachunk being embarrassed by the pics Muabe posted of him.....so I am all about self deprication (sp?) so time to embarrass myself!!!! Here's a horrible halloween pic of me! And here's an actual pic of me (need to cut out the ex-gf in that pic really bad.....)

    Herb farming

Ok all you herbalists out there (especially MR. Farmer himself, Gordantell!) I'm curious as to where you go for your herb farmage. Things like sungrass, khadgars whisker, blindweed, etc...... Thanks!
  8. Now maybe Huato will not be the first to die anymore. I guess I can get rid of my /rez Huato macro....

    ONYXIA RAID

I only have step 1 done of warlord's command.
  12. Anytime any day! I only have one person down for Warlord's command.
  13. Damn Crik! I too got one of those letters in the mail for proof of insurance. I threw it out, piss on em. My license was suspended as well (found out when I went to renew) but I didn't owe any fee, just had to show proof of insurance. I'm glad to see you're getting a lawyer. I've had some run-ins with the Columbus police myself, and NEVER ONCE was I ever treated like a human, but a piece of dirt. I admit, I have a big mouth and don't take well to authority but it is my firm belief that the only people that become police officers are the ones that were constantly beat up and picked on in school. This is their way for revenge.
  14. Huato was kind enough to get me an invite to a Scholo raid last night. After getting into the group ( I was the 6th person) there was a little spat when I wanted to invite some more Crushers to fill the spots they couldn't fill. The mage in the group was dead set against me inviting another mage (Maube) and complained that we HAD to have a priest. They tried to take on a few simple mobs and we got owned. Again, lets get the mages guys? NO! Must have priest! Oh really? /invite Odenn /invite Maube /invite Verissi /invite Gordantell /invite Grymald That enough mages for ya? Anyhow, it turned into a Crusher raid when the rest left since we had no priest. (added Stein from Nevermore too (((who will be a future Crusher if we keep annoying him enough))) Well, with me and Huato healing, and eventually Harne showed up too, we absolutely owned the place Can't wait till we get the rest of the guys up to 60 for some more Crusher ownage.

    ONYXIA RAID

I'd love to go but I'm not keyed
  16. Well, I know I've already discussed this with Huato, and I'm in the same boat he is...... I'm currently full Enhancement with Restoration to Nature's Swiftness. I can dish out some pretty good damage for sure, but I generate lots of aggro (thus a dead Uglutz). The only time I don't die in instance runs is when Huato is there to die before me..... Enhancement was great for PvE grinding, but for instance raids it sucks..flat out. Enhance shaman are burst damage, get aggro, then die. When I have my 2-hander I do some crazy windfruy crits (I have flurry and improved Windfury talents) but I sacrifice all the stats and armor of the shield. Those crazy crits get me aggro and I die very fast. I am leaning towards an elemental/restoration build. My only worry here is how mana intensive this build is. Yet, as Huato mentioned to me, the Earthfury set gives lots of mana regen bonuses. My conundrum is which should I be heavier in? Elemental or restoration? natures swiftness is one of the greatest talents in the game. I can't even count how many times that spell has saved myself and those in my raid. I honestly believe if you put any points into restoration, you HAVE to go to at least natures swiftness. So.....either go restoration to NS and rest in elemental, or do full restoration with remainder in elemental. In looking closer at the build you have posted 3rd, I am leaning towards that as well (minus the enhancement part). I would put those points into either improved healing wave or improved reincarnation (with one point in ancenstral healing). Those seem to have a bit more bang for the buck. The biggest downside about being a shammy with any enhancement is the variety of stats you need. Str, Stam, Agility, Intellect, Spirit...yep all of em. With enhance/resto you can be stam/int heavy with spirit as a third. The ONLY reason I havent left my enhance spec yet is the hopes that bloodlust would replace stormstrike. Regardless of which I'd have to respec anyhow. My 2 cents
  17. Are your mistells carrying over to the forum now? My goodness Muru! That is too funny!
  18. I'll go either way. If the majority of the guild goes, I'll go. If they stay, I'll stay.
  19. Attempt one : Made it to the Rattlegore room with a few deaths, 2 wipes. Uncle Meifftor Kodyak Grawuulf Smedlock and Meself made it almost to Rattlegore, and poor Kodyak went LD. Maube volunteered to help and we made it to Rattlegore np. After clearing Rattles, I placed the scryer and instantly the waves of spirits began. About 20 level 57 sprits instantly spawned on us. With Maubes AoE it was cake. Next came the groups of 1 or 2 wandering 59/60 elites. The third wave of green snot spirits did us in. About 12 60 elite spirits was what got us. We weren't able to pull just a group of 3. Instant death , and at that time the repops prevented us from giving it another try. Thanks to those that helped!
  20. Hmmm not sure. I'll try to look it up and see. But remember.... Uglutz the shammy (Martok) > Carelle (Lan) hehehe Would be great to have you in a game with us again!!!!
  21. Any time after 6pm est time works for me.
  22. 15 man UBRS raid last night. Complete ownage. Crushers in attendance: Grymwald Maube Verissi (almost a crusher) Smedlock Greenbull Uglutz Huato Nazagorn Grawuulf We found a few others to add that did an exellent job... Jood the hunter, Balcroth the priest, Grimgor...Skyseer, and of course I can't remember the last few.... Anyhow....complete ownage in UBRS. only a few deaths and never a wipe. Tranquil air DPS group for the win! Oh, and allowing Grawuulf to die first always helped too. Anyhow, no shammy epic stuff this time, *cries with Huato and Naz* We'll have to do it again! I know Friday is MC for several, and I'm most likely going to try for Scholo that day....Perhaps tonight again or even Saturday? Discuss!
  23. Ya, that guy that decided the original transfers needs demoted to "King ob da peetub"
