  1. Not that I have seen. Sorry
  2. 87 words per minute, 85 words per minute after adusted for accuracy. Says typing level is X-Treme What do you mean you don't touch type? You dont' type like normal or what? That's the only way to get faster!!!
  3. Today I was called at 5am and asked to go to one of our locations on the other side of the state to work. I found out that the manager was called up to report for active duty, despite the fact that he has been out of the military for 6 years, and had completed his 4 years of reserve. Another manager received his letter of possible activation after being discharged since 1992. I am not against the draft, especially in the time we currently live in. I do mind the secret behind the door crap. If it is necessary to serve, just say so....don't try to hide it from the public.
  4. I am leaning towards a big no on this subject. I am not fond of the "hey mon" accent that is in WC. You would have to do MUCH convincing .... (perhaps MUCH is not a strong enough word...) Orcs do not speak the way our clan does in WC... It is something unique and special to our clan. Other RP guilds out there will adept their own language as well.
  5. Which is why we have lots and lots of bombs.

  8. Uglutz cursed as the battle began to erupt around him. The filthy elves had taken them somewhat by suprise. There was little time to organize a counter-strike, and the noise of battle was too loud for any real orders to be given. Grulg apparantly did not think so, as he continued to curse and spit orders to various lines of the Skullcrusher defenses. A small patrol of dwarves rounded the corner near Uglutz and the group of shamen surrounding him. The Skullcrusher shamen wasted no time and began calling to the earth to heed their call. Fire erupted in mid air, and the very earth itself rose up to greet the invading dwarves. Uglutz raised his hands to call upon the blessings of Shakha, but his oversized one-horned helm decided to fall down over his face, completely covering his head down to his chin. "Wizzies!!" Uglutz thought to himself as darkness came over him, thinking some sort of evil spell prevented his sight. In a fit of panic, Uglutz pulled out one of his large battle axes and began swinging furiously, hoping to cut down anything that got within striking distance. Shamen of the Skullcrushers cursed as they dodged not only from dwarves and elves, but from Uglutz's axe as well. A few grunts were not as attentive as they should have been, and found a battle axe dug halfway into their sides for their punishment. Feeling satisfied there was no longer any invaders near him, Uglutz raised his hands again to the heavens, and called down a volley of lightning from the clouds. The smell of burning flesh began to flow through the air, being carried across the field of battle with the wind. Lightning continued to pour down from above, striking indiscriminately at all that it could touch. An elvish arrow made its way directly to the center of Uglutz's helm, knocking it up and off his head. "Har!" Uglutz cried, feeling satisfied his last volley of lightning dealt with the filthy elvish wizard whom had cast the darkness spell. Breathing heavily from battle, a few grunts on wargs brought up the front of the shamen's advance. "Lat blah tu me ib der uny oder wizzies!" Uglutz yelled. "Me clomp dem tu!" Several shamen just shrugged their shoulders and took up position beside their warchief, quite glad he forgot to pick up his helm.
  9. I use Sygate since it is FREE!!!!
  10. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 8!! Just needs some minor polishing (its ready for release now as far as I am concerned) Depending on how they finalize the PvP system, this will be a great game!
  11. Tradeskills are the same thats posted thus far.
  12. Most likely no to the roleplaying server. Roleplay servers = RP Nazi's Bad thing. But we'll just have to see what happens when Blizzard announces servers and the rules for the servers.
  13. Hope you're right!! I hate the thought of being able to do everything... Would ruin the fun in it!!!
  14. They have changed it. As of right now, you can get an unlimited amount of skillpoints. Keep in mind, the only thing that skillpoints are used for is to increase your attributes (strength, intelligence,etc...) and tradeskills (oh, and if you wish to learn something your character class does not normally have the ability for... like shaman can learn axes...) Skillpoints are gained from fighting MOBS. Spells and abilities are able to be purchased by leveling. Originally, they planned on limiting it to 3 tradeskills max, not the case currently unless they change it back.
  15. I have not yet been to an instanced dungeon. Sorry, can not answer. Tradeskills so far: I took up Herbalism, Alchemy, and enchanting. Herbalism was rough at first. I was only able to find two herbs around the starter cities of Durotar. I did notice that as I ventured out into other lands, more herbs were noticed. It was very slow going at first, never having enough to make the potions that I wanted. As my skill in herbalism increased, I was able to locate and pick new herbs for even better potions! You can often find herbs not too far from the trail, but more often herbs are found a good distance off trails while you are questing. Very easy to pick up an herb.... walk up to it (it shows up on your mini map) and click on it! Alchemy was very easy. It tells you what components you need for the potions you know how to make. You are able to buy new potions from alchemy vendors if your skill allows, but the best potion drops I hear are off of rare monsters. When you open up your alchemy window, it will tell you how many of each potion you are able to make with the ingredients in your pack. Just click on what you want to make, and there it goes! If you fail you will not lose your components!!! And you will gain a skill point when successful! I didn't get very far into enchanting... it was just as easy as alchemy. It told you what requirements were needed etc... The only thing I do NOT like about the tradeskill system, is currently you can master every tradeskill there is if you develop enough skillpoints (although it would take a tremendous amount of playtime). To me that just seems to hurt the economy of the game, and player interaction. I would much rather prefer each player only being able to take two to three skills max. I know others in the beta have complained about not being able to find enough ore for mining, but maybe they just haven't found the right areas. I found Mulgore the best spot so far for herbs (Tauren zone). Durotar (orc zone) was horrible, as was the barrens. I love the way the tradeskill system works, I just don't like how everyone can do everything eventually... .they really need to change that!
  16. Ack Sorry to hear that. I gave up on my compaq long ago and just finally broke down for a new system. Darn hp's and compaqs.
  17. A few fellow Skullcrushers have had the opportunity to play some WoW beta!!! If any of you have any specific questions, please post here! Those of us who have played the beta will do our best to answer here!
  18. Good luck to you Kor! I am sad to see you go. As much as we would have liked to have been an orc only guild when we first created the SoC, we do wish to be as inclusive as possible to all who would join our ranks. We especially need those druids and priests that the orcs can not be!
  19. Kor is correct in his statement that we are a primarily orc clan. It states clearly on our website that we are an orc clan that accepts a limited number of tauren and trolls into the ranks, while strictly prohibiting the undead. The ideal ratio is 20-25% tauren and trolls compared to 75% orcs. The clan's stance on the undead is very clear - no way no how. Our stance regarding our troll and tauren brethren is that we only allow the best of the best into the clan. Those trolls and tauren who join our ranks are placed above all others of their race in our minds, right behind the orcs themselves!!! (quite an honor indeed from the mindset of an orc!!!)
  20. The "jobs" will most likely not come around for the guild until release. When we see what everyone wishes to do, what their goal of their character is... then it is easier to fill positions and create them. This is everyone's clan. Input is always welcome and encouraged. There is only one golden rule: Everyone must have fun.
  21. Welkum tu da clan! *Goes back to his evil alchemy experiment*
  22. A nice addition to a long list of great Senators of War. Congrats
  23. Don't get ahead of the PvP aspect... nothing for the guild has been put in place due to us not knowing how the PvP system will work!! If the system allows rogues to do that type of assasination mission, you can bet the skullcrushers will have such a team. Just got to wait to see what the game mechanics will allow us to do. Wouldn't make sense to have a team made up for the guild if the only thing you can attack is mobs in game
  24. Bounty hunter? What do you want to hunt? This isn't Galaxies. The game is not made for that style of PvP as DAoC and Galaxies. The game is mainly PvE, with limited PvP (nothing on PvP has been decided for release yet and might change.) Perhaps if the game mechanics change down the road such a thing would be possible.
  25. Any SoC member talks like this get's clomped. Plain and simple HOOOOWAAAAH!
