Safehaven is in the perfect spot. We used safe haven in the past for fun little drunken roleplaying events. My goodness, that must be well over a year ago now. I agree with ya'll, we need to get back to using Safe Haven! -

In reply to Steel's original post....Just as BB said, it is a two way street. You will not find a more generous or friendly group of people that are in this guild. I have many LONG term freinds from this guild. Many of whom I play other games with and have real life contact with now. I know that many of our new members don't know me (and some other very great people from the guild) for I and a few others have been away the last few months. This guild has had a long and rich history of being quite generous. Take BB for instance.....he has given much to this guild..... To be honest and quite blunt.... Those that complain that the guild members are not friendly are just plain wrong. Everyone I have ever associated with in this guild is simply a GREAT group of people... The best of the best I would have to say. Even new people I have met only a few times seem to be an upstanding bunch. People that I am happy to associate with. *Gives out warm fuzzies* -

Former Emperor Greg had commissioned this venture many years ago, and now their labor had been realized. Praetorian Koopsta and his family stepped forward first to volunteer to enter the portal. Though he knew not where this strange portal would take him, he somehow knew that he would again see his friends of the Purple Guardians of HONOR, even be it in a different form. Virus removal...YAHA virus Thanks to Wolf, here is the link to clean out that nasty virus that I had......in case any of you have the same thing.... I didn't have all the symptoms..... but when I ran the virus clean program, it found several infected areas....

I received an email from an email address of Gladiator001. It was addressed to Martok@TheHonorEmpire.org. I thought it was an email from Lan (Carelle) (his email address is gladiator0011) Anyhow, there was a file attachment with the email, and like an idiot I opened it. A few hours later, after logging out of DAoC I checked my email. Two hours later, I finished downloading my 2,754 emails. NO LIE! Some mega virus is now in my computer. I am not sure if this grabbed my contact list and sent emails to those of you I have in my address book. IF YOU RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM ME DO NOT OPEN IT!!! Also....Balandar... I received some files from SB@pgoh.org...........there are file attachments with the email.....is this something you sent?

I forgot to tell everyone!!! Last month Martok's account hit 36 months! No more will I spend 5k a day in horses!!! Never again will the stablemaster shoo me out of his stables!!! Now the horse population is no longer in danger!!! *rides off on his ethereal steed into the darkness*

Ok...the 'what your characters do when you log out' just might be one of the funniest things i have ever seen. I was almost in tears. But I'll tell you...its SAAAAD. Can you say super dork? Not only are they super DAoC junkies, but they have to make a movie about DAoC and incorporate D&D. It was HILAROUS!!!!! funny stuff

Finally got it working. I had to download a patch for some reason. Now the game works fine. Yes you dumb ass at computer support, I DID have the minimum system requirements. jeesh

Ok, people from support think its because I have an old driver still in my system registry. Of course they won't tell me how to get rid of it!!! Any help here?? I have an old video card and sound card driver I have to get rid of.....

For some strange reason I went out today and bought Age of Wonders 2. Little did I know it i such a poorly developed game I can't even get it to launch. I go to the support site, and it is basically for idiots. Yes I meet all the system requirements! I call tech support, and wait for over a half an hour. The recording keeps saying that they are experiencing heavy call volumes due to the "popularity" of its Grand theft auto game. Popularity? What does that have to do with support? You mean the #### game doesn't work? After talking to a Level one support person who keeps asking me if I meet the minimun system qualifications, I ask to talk to someone that knows how to help me more then asking me if my computer is more than a 486 processor. Of course, they are not in. Give me a break. I only want to play the #### game! So now I wait for Level 2 support to send me an email to most likely ask me if my minimun system requirements meet the specs. GAH

I am glad Garriott is continuing with the MMORPG's. I figured he'd stop with Lineage 1. So is Lingeage 2 going to be something other than a poor Japanese MMORPG of Pokemon?
