Unfortunately the easiest dragon to slay (the swamp dragon) doesn't even give you spined leather... its 20 normal leather! How's a dragon gonna have worse hides than a lizardman??? puh lease!

As to the Elves of Adhaerl... My cousin Corin came upon them in Nujelm while in the middle of an important festival. In that ecounter they were quite nice and indeed invited him to join in the festivities as well as back to thier forest. I was unaware of thier xenophobic nature but I believe I will continue our positive relations at every available avenue. My advice however would to be to leave our relations with them up to our elven cohort.

is it just me or are the bods just a pain? Im sure I'm not the only one who had the thought "Who ever wanted something like a sturdy shovel?" I mean sure... the hammers would be great but being my miner is also a tinker these sturdy shovels and pickaxes are worthless... my GM smith finds it an insult to be asked to fill such lowely deeds especially when he sells them only the finest quality of elven goods. You'd think they could at least cut out the worthless ones for the GM smiths even if it did mean you'd have to sell more to the vendors before they offered, but that's just my thought on the issue.

She was born of Ithil or so she claimed and of that I knew nothing. The ladies of the moon were a mystery to me to be unraveled like a tangled ball of yarn. She was always so distant when Ithil shown her light upon her and I felt much envy of Menel’s blue eye. At other times however it seemed as though the sky itself had given me its most precious jewel. We married under the moon’s full light and never had it been so lovely as that night. I walked with her through the heart’s thought itself and our two beings became one. From that she bore a child. A child whose whole self was bound to Ithil and it seems only that I was charged with her care while she visits this earth for it was not long after that Kiara returned to Ithil in totality. She was taken from us by those that would oppose all that is good. She did not die as most do however. With her last breath she merely ceased to be, her whole self faded into moonlight before my eyes. I felt so powerless to stop it. I could do nothing. I ask you now to remember her as you will any fallen family member... I ask you now to love those that you have while they still breathe... I tell you this to remind you of the preciousness of life... never forget this... I never will. This is what we fight for... so that no one should feel such pain again.

I hate it when I'm forced to ask "WHY HAS IT TAKEN SOOO LONG FOR THIS TO HAPPEN?"... I asked the same thing when they came out with those gutter helmets so that rain goes in but leaves and stuff that clogs them up stays out... I mean... its a really simple thing but it took forever for somebody to market it!

As much as the orcish tongue fills my mouth with bile I can still tell you what he means... Basically he's saying that you aren't too smart and that while you sit and do nothing they gain in power and that eventually all of us will get clomped...killed that is... usually I'd just reply Ugga mugga ding dong -course I don't think too highly of any orc... oh well better than a drow I guess.

Come one come all -elves that is- I'd like to talk to any that I don't know to make arrangements... BTW its nigh on impossible to find an elf that's not already in a guild so recruitment is a pain and Jadin Aster, Edhel... not a legionnaire... he's my alternate and I guess it should read Edhel Pleb sorry on that one

Oh yeah... remember to roleplay constantly... that is if you wanna tell somebody that you had a horrible day at work or something you should probably utilize a messenger program or have your characters party up. Its not necessary to stay in character while partied... (to let you in on a little secret- sometimes us elves aren't even sure what we're saying to one another but its not a problem if we are partied together because we can simply explain ourselves without letting you humans know that we don't know) :smilewinkgrin: It's especially helpful when assisting someone who hasn't played an elf before.

Is it just me or does anybody else think that maybe Balandar needs to get a better hobby??? Or could it be he was procrastinating from doing some of his studies... Bal? How'd that abnormal psych test go anyway?-Pray for a curve!!!

Here's a hint... Sometimes I emote exactly what I'm doing myself... for example if I am confused as to what someone means as I read their speach I might be sitting at my computer scratching my head, so its likely that you may observe Aluim with *Scratches his head* above him during some of Borg's longer speaches. Sneezes and yawns often translate from the real world into UO in the same way.

Personally I'd be much more interested in a possible war with this guild if a reason for opposition was pointed out. Seeing as they are described as a respectable and honorable guild it seems they would make more likely allies than enemies.

Definetely keep us up to date on this one Coldren! I mean I've even played FF2 the Japanese version...much different than the US version...

Im just sayin its not fun for me to watch big men play with thier balls... it just doesn't make for a good sunday for me... I can't knock all of you that love to watch that kinda thing because its to each his own but... well... who's the chick in disguise? I, who whatch women bounce around on the field or you who watch big husky guys???
