About the future of the Ultima Online gaming experience and how The Honor Empire experience will proceed.... As our guild's 7th anniversary approaches (10/11/04) so does it travel with a cloudy sky. In recent days the Empire has accepted the resignation of Senator Earwen, Senator Cyric and tonight Emperor Logan has tendered his term closed. All three stood with us in HONOR and will always walk with HONOR into the days of thier own making to come. I and the Ancients hold them all as do all the citizens of the Empire and realm with great esteem and admiration for their sacrifice to duty over their terms. I rather prefer the Jousting method we created....especially since this looks at first glance as another means for citizens (Players) to NOT need to interact with other players.....continuing down the anti-community aspect that began 3 yrs ago....sigh. Jousting FITS historical context...and everyone can participate.....Honor is an individual achievment. Tamers.....well the pet would be gaining the Honor if in combat. Archers should be able to either Joust like with our USE BEST SKILL units or DUEL as in the days of pacing off then turning, standing and firing. Guess we didnt campaign hard enough to get our Joust recognized. Never too late....... Let loose the dogs of war..... If what ye report is true..(Cort Malic ordering the slaughter of gargoyles that disagreed with a declaration) this may be the beginning of a dangerous period. Since the birth of the LOCUST from the acts of Lord Dupre', there has been a strong growing alligence between the two races bound in HONOR. Ver Lor Reg was built long ago by remnants of the LOCUST and while within all great civilizations and societies there always will be dissidents who wait for thier opportunity to exploit a situation to help thier position. Followers of the defeated Gratagmalem still exist...thier distain for the alligence with Humans have been passed down through shadowy whispers between gargoyles who have felt oppressed or ignored. Be careful Cort Malic.... what so many men, women and gargoyles of Honor have built for ages cannot be torn down by the act of a few or one... but can be put under threat and strife if actions are done in haste and judgments are made just to satisfy a shallow hunger or impatience. Enemies of the state (realm alligned) await any chance they can to exploit. Our treaty between Lord British and Draxinusom, King of the Gargoyles still stands and if the Gargoyles had a legitimate claim to try a criminal captured in thier kingdom....it should have been conducted within thier courts. Agreement though being made to transfer him to Yew....the decision to slay disagreeing gargoyle citizens....hmmm that decision will be in question for many days I fear. Selling of an IGM modified building and or unique items IGM modified.....within the game engine of Ultima Online is a violation of Interest Terms of Agreement. If they sell this........it will be deleted. Even if they dont sell it.......it may be deleted now that they have attempted to.

colored enamel is coming. (my bet) Asian Armor in history was the first and most widely colored of all cultures. color is going to be nearly an irrelevant issue. I would even lean that the "uber" items now that are hued will be able to be modified in color. ICE ETHEREAL FLAMING SPECTORIAL effects will not be able to be done and will be the next significant visual difference between loot item/craft item and EVENT MODERATOR or QUEST CHARACTER UNIQUE ITEMS.
