I have no idea at the moment. I have seen(heard) players comments INSIDE game engine that they are playing from european countries. Denmark I remember hearing someone say they are playing from. I will attempt to find out.......

Hello Skullcrusher Orcs.... I will be reporting the daily pages (or as often as they occur) of the journal from Morgh (Tauren Druid) as he ventures throughout the Beta Realm of WoW. DAY 1 (April 24th, 2004) I awoke to the sound of the horn.....it was my birthday and the day I would begin my journey to becoming a bull. No longer to remain in the herd as a young calf......time to put my hooves to work. I had always felt a strong connection to the lands like all Tauren, but I found the pursuit of the life of a Druid to be one that would bring more to the masses beyond the herd. The good of the many....and that many is The Hoard. I was handed a map of my land of Mulgore and sent on quests by many of the camp elders......

It would seem our SOC cresty is perfect for such a usage. I would hope Bal or Tok submit it so we get to have it in game.

Ultima Online Age of Blood:The Feudal Wars or Ultima Online Age of Chaos:Return of the Feudal Lords Age of Blood:The Feudal Wars Possible foundation...... Basic background is within a land wrought with Feudal Lords (Daimyou or Hankou) which interestingly enough align into 8 major territories (Hachido) that nicely align with the 8 Virtues. Colors of the great houses of the Daimyou match the colors of the Virtues. Each Territory has a great scholar (Hanju) which would be base for questing events to gain the virtue and awarding ritual jades (Keiheki) which signified ones aligence to an Ancient Feudal Lord. Kobushi (Veteran Feudal Warrior-Samurai) would lead armies of a Feudal Lord they had sworn thier life to defend/serve and in concert with Yoriki (feudal era police), would defend the Tono (Feudal Lords Palace) and enforce Teuchi (Capital Punishment) A land of many feudal clans (Reppan) led by minor feudal lords (Shoumyou) all in conflict throughout the countrysides hopping to rise to become the lands ULTIMATE Lord......Emperor. The law of the land (Shikimoku) written over time in blood by the victorious governing a disciplined and spiritual people (Burakumin and Houkenshakai) talented in the arts of metal and mind. Though proud of thier heritage and land....there are those that would seek to expand into the lands that the new travellers/invaders (Players who come from Britannia) come from. (Basis for Britannia apperance of new adversaires) Commerce will be conducted between many (Player/NPC) since.... Business is business..... but Glory, Honor and Title await the Conquerer. (Some former Feudal Lords perhaps may look to RE-establish themselves in the lands of Britannia/Lost Lands/Ilshenar/Malas in hopes of creating thier own territory and armies before returning to reclaim what they had lost in wars previous) Here is where the players come in....... do they align themselves with one of the 8 Large Ancient Feudal Lords (Virtue Aligned) OR do they bring thier own guild/clan to war or form thier own aligences with Kyuuhansu (Former Feudal Lords which represent Chaos)in hopes of gaining territory (Ryougoku) and then move against other Shoumyou......or even aim to overthrow one of the Ancient 8 Feudal Lords and establish thier own Kyuubaku or Shogunate ?!(old feudal Government) A new land deep in oaths and service.....many written in blood. Now that blood spills.... and some flows into Britannia. Age of Chaos:Return of the Feudal Lords Possible Foundation...... Similar to the above Age of Blood:The Feudal Wars but with 1 Ruling Major Feudal Lord (Chaos Similar) and 8 Lesser Feudal Lords (Virtue Sworn) in which players choose an alignment etc and go to it......all the above wrinkles etc just with the central point being the WAR against the powerful Feudal Lord by the 8 lessers and thier allies. The land would still have the old Kyuuhansu (former feudal lords) sporatically around trying to re-establish themselves by ingratiating themselves with the Major Feudal Lord. Note: before the time of Lord British....there were Warlords/Feudal Lords......time for their return? SunSword....... "What is thy bidding...."

Perhaps you can help. We need a good internal codename. Some developer who will remain as yet unnamed (and probably without having had their morning coffee) suggested "Asian Invasion." I've rejected this suggestion for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that as an acronymn, it perhaps promises too much... I'm sure one of you can do better. All entries will be judged on creativity, cultural relevance (there's no such thing as Chinese Ninjas), and downright coolness. How would you like to be the person that came up with the internal codename for UO's next expansion?? Hints, think PvP, feudal japan, exploration, etc... good news....good news indeed. I can relate to the amnesia.......in 85 when I had my car accident (head on collission) I do not and still do not remember the accident......just shifting down a gear 1 block before the intersection. Next thing I remember is the guy who taught me to swim is entering the passenger door telling me I have been in an accident. then I died at hospital and woke up later naked on a examining table. "Welcome back Stan, we had given up on you. ......a doc says as he is stitching up my scalp.

A personal and deep thank you to Calandryll and the ghost of Ignatz (left over a year ago)....your support and hard work combined to allow me a great opportunity to entertain the masses in years past. Through our events and candid conversations in the "room without a view" gone by... many a mystery and monster have sprung up to challenge the realms at large....past, present and future. It was due to both of you and your support of the past programs that allows me to write this note and walk the world at large. If I had not been conducting that event for the Catskills population that late fateful night years ago.....I would have never known I had a Graves disorder attack and would have died in my sleep. For many this game engine is a diversion and it IS entertainment to enjoy....for each of us it also takes on a flavor, passion or journey. Mine is a permanent link in my life and the driving force for me to maintain the goals Twilight (Ignatz) professionally explained was our goal as conductors of any ingame event. For the Devs and the support teams.......this is thier professional job. I have taken this approach into the other games that T.H.E website supports.....and am proud how many others have continued this objective of supporting the "good of the many" and expanding the FUN of online gaming into MORE than just hack/slash/go/get activities. Creating the network of friends and family that has occured is one of the greatest percs of enjoying an online activity. It ALL started with Ultima Online.......for myself and for many in the industry and gamers abroad. YOU members of the current Dev Team and UO Support team.........along with ALL those before you....have done a superb job to maintain the system and engine. Nearly if not actually re-writing the whole game programming to keep up with the ever demanding client base needs. Those that leave will undoubtably take that prowess to improve other game engines.......in that everyone wins. Those that stay will continue the work, history and reputation of Ultima Online as one of the eternal game engines that shape the Online Industry........in that everyone wins. While some may look at the downside to this occurance......there is a greater good that is more important for US the population of Ultima Online to do. It is OUR time to support the Dev Team and the UO Support team during this dramatic change in thier lives and/or homes. They have been there for all of us....now is our time to give them the thanks and applause for thier work. Closures and relocations are buggers......I am currently doing the same thing with my staff in Ithaca NY....keeping thier spirits up and their eyes wide to the opportunities for them all........but especially keeping thier success of past glory....front and center of thier minds so that it counters the naturaly process of sadness that comes with such a transition. With that all in mind....... Tuesday at approximately 2pm Austin Time March 9th 2004.
