hehehe hmmm wonder what happened to the hampster dancers hehehe but I did find Uncle Reavus in a dance contest... 3 minutes into the show.

I was fortunate enough to grab the last slot (think of that back baby seat in the MINIONS car that went to Walmart in the movie to get a new unicorn).....with Reavus, Kal and Veep the other day.....in about 44 minutes we blew thru all the Dailies on Belsavis (woulda been faster if I had the uber speeder). We did not do all the ILUM stuffs or what they called wheelchair events and went into BGs for a while until we met Battlemaster Premades in Huttball over and over.... All in all it was about 2 hrs for the adventure (most in BGs) and resulted in for myself a little over 100k.....which got me the uber fast speeder WHOOT. They have it all on autopilot and have done it so manytimes ...they fall asleep sometimes on speeders. It would be best to learn that routine and harvest as much as you can before the end of sales.

*Transmission from Intelligence HQ* Keeper: Vigilance is approved and resources allocated for the establishment of a Bunker Base of operations to be built on Belsavis. Use this base for your daily operations as you improve your units response time and lethal capabilities in preparations for the new operations on Illum and against the Rebel incursions abroad. Maintain your investigation and study of the Voss on thier control of sight using the force but get your operations center built as well....you though will have to keep using locals as we do not wish to upset Voss into realizing this is an Imperial outpost actually. Darth Colin on Voss: Understood. I will inform Dark Lord Reavus (event leader) and Dark Lord Balandar (website guru). We will make sure the The Bunker (new section of Vigilance website) has a Chamber of Conquests (section) that displays in some form of framed pictures of World Bosses and dates slain (normal, hard and nightmare) under each rendering. Keeper: Excellent I will look forward to the progress and keep an eye with a watcher 11 to make sure everything is up to code. Darth Colin on Voss: As you wish. *End Transmission*

Thanks Uncle Reavus.... It is just I hear (teamspeak, ingame and post around) all about how crafting is at a limit....waiting for changes in upcoming patches "hopefully" to get useful again. Players seem to have maxed out thier character capable benefits....well there should always be another option (actually 4 minimum for crafters) in gaming. 1) Sell wares for profit (NPC or AUCTION) 2) Use wares for self (account characters) 3) Use wares for environment (personal, community, global) <==== This is a HUGE area for PvP options as well as Guild benefit etc...past guild halls, ship construction (see old Colin More Galaxie Space Expansion idea) 4) Use wares for wares (stockpile, skill gain, recycling) Combining a Guild of gamers together thru faction support of a Large/Epic crafting that supports or enhances PVP activities will benefit in turn the Guild (and trickle down members). One can argue that they would have to spend time working on mechanics, balancing etc....YUP...thats what they do now and can look back at the games before them and learn from to help speed up the learning curve. The issue that has kept that UO engine running so long has been its customization and commitment to the crafting to support the PVP and Dungeoning....those that toil are those that are loyal. PvP Only or Dungeon/Raider Only players that blast thru leveling and PvPing etc only will not last as long as the crafters due to the fact that there will ALWAYS be a shiny new biz bang zoom rockety flashy game thing on the horizon.....those that rocket always run out of fuel and crash n burn. No game is perfect just like nothing in life is perfect....they are trying to build a world and an online life....not gonna be perfect but if it wants to survive the ever insatiable thirst of gamers now and future...it has to slow them down a bit, make them think, plan and motivate them to work together for a common goal. I always hope for the best in games, patches and expansions....and have been around doing this insanity long enough not to get crazed when its not exaclty what I like or perfect.....though I will shake my head and think....why the hell cant we get those programmers to listen to us (T.H.E. team thats been doing this since 1996....longer than half the age of some of the devs) We are the perfect blend of experience in this genre...within our team are the experts across the platforms options of gameplay....we should be honestly in thier ears and definetly in some test group regularily as a complete team.

Epic PVP requires Epic participation, preparation or performance.....DAoC it took a LONG Time for a large force to make any success over 1 Capture Keep.....sometimes If I recall there were weeks when no side achieved total dominance and unlocked the special areas or switched them from ownership. If Bioware wants to keep things within a weekly timeset though...the Epic part could be placed in the participation. Require a site to be maintained as in holding it by players....ie Stronghold method (DAoC) or center flag area (Wow).....but throw in ...if there are less than X players the area loses influence to a neutral (then overun the area with native NPC level 55 Elites Mobs. Add in the DAoC created siege items....in Star Wars this could be various....purchasable Squads of level 50 Mobs, Craftable offensive/defensive weaponry (Cannons, Turrets), purchaseable/craftable combination air bombardments where players have to pay some NPC as well as supply him with bombardment type (Bunkerbuster or personell affecting aoe) Just some quick thoughts....

Hows that for bread crumbs Uncle Reavus ....hehehe

Bioware have held the first of a new series of weekly Q&A sessions with Star Wars: The Old Republic players, with some more information on what we can expect from the upcoming 1.2 patch. The Legacy system offers a shared level that exists across all TOR alts, but while it’s currently possible to gain Legacy levels, there are no rewards attached to them. Lead writer Daniel Erickson confirms that 1.2 will give players with Legacy levels access to a greater selection of races when creating new characters. “The species that will be unlocked in Game Update 1.2 are species currently in the game that will become available to classes and factions where you haven’t seen them before,” says Erickson. “New species are in consideration for the future but we don’t have any details to share right now.” Jawa Jedi, anyone? The next major update will also add dual spec support. That’ll let players create two different skill set-ups and switch between them at will, which could be useful for creating specialised PvP and PvE builds. We won’t be able to switch advanced classes though. Bioware see the specialised trees that open up at level 10 as “fundamentally different class designs.” Erickson also mentions that “there’s a new Warzone planned for Game Update 1.2 which we’re already testing internally.” Bioware are also working on a new rankings system which will be used to improve the matchmaking system. There currently aren’t any plans to let players queue for a particular type of Warzone, however. Finally, fashion conscious characters will be happy to hear about a “vastly improved ‘Hue to Chest’ system” which will co-ordinate outfits a little better. Bioware also say that “there are more customization and quality of life improvements along those lines hot on its heels.” Patch 1.2 is due sometime in March.

Galam, Rattataki Inquisitor Assassin As a weapons salesperson on the orbital KORRIBAN space station, Galam dreamed of the day he could travel the stars in the name of the Sith Empire. As a salesman for a Hutt vendor though meant a meager income at best so he knew he had to find other means to aquire the credits needed to buy his starship. Galam looked to the Arenas and the games that pitted factions against each other for glory, fame and a bit of credits on the side. Galam excelled at the game of Hutt ball and his reputation grew but little would he know that within one seemingly insignificant game he would make his first step toward his true destiny. Hutt Ball is simple enough, get a ball across a goal like via throws, catches or runs without being stopped by the opposing team...score more and win. Galam enjoyed this game for he had a knack for moving quickly and unobserved until a critical moment for success or to stop the opposing team. The field itself is a challenge alone with platforms that burst into fire....vault players...and pools of slowing acidic compounds. Still within the ranks of the game, Galam was only above average...but in this one game he made an excellent decision. During a pickup game (one made of no set groups or teams just individual players), Galam flew thru the field and conducted his normal tactics across the defenders and obstacles, scoring a pair of goals quickly then moving to defensive activities. A novice player, Colin Mor (Sith Apprentice) within this game took note of his speed and abilities and upon the end of the victorious game this player took his first win, thanked his fellow gamers and left quietly as the others prepared for another game opponent. Tonight many cycles later, Galam's future would appear to him within the darkness of the Hutt Ball Arena...on the field that Galam had virtually memorized every inch, nook and cranny. Every week the Arena is shut down to the public for required maintenance to deal with all the damage the field and fixtures take during the weeks games. It was this time that the automatic repair bots would do thier duties and Galam would take advantage of the recovery rooms saunas and his vendor keyset to enter the Arena and sit, relax and visualize his tactics and plans while the repairs went on. The repair bots began to finish up and as they left the field Galam snacked on some local leafy snacks. A feeling of uneasy-ness began to come over Galam and as he stood to figure out if it was the snack or not a leaf fluttered to the field below his platform.....he looked down at it and as it hit the floor the arena itself went dark as he has never seen it before....complete utter darkness....putting Galam for an instant unbalanced. Never had he seen this arena so dark, not one single flicker of light....absolute darkness....he was blind with only his memory of the arena and his sences to guide him. His senses now told him some truth.....he was blind, he was not alone....without his equipment he was also defenseless. *SNAP-CRACK* A jolt of energy threw Galam from the platform and against the lower floor wall. "You are blind now....but can you see?!" ;a voice echoed thru the arena. Instinctively he turned toward the direction of the voice and slid himself along the wall to a corner point. He knew this corner led to a ramp that would take him to a higher point and a place he could defend the ramp....he wanted to get the high ground. He made his move.... *ZWAAACKK* Galams body was enveloped energy and frozen in place followed by the voice again. "You are blind....buc can you SEE!!"; now louder and with anger the voice bellowed. The energy lock ended and as he staggered a step or two he then dove for a Hutt Ball conductor. Gathering his strength he then bolted toward the ramp and as he felt his feet hit the incline he made his way to the second platform and turned.....directly into a face full of an energy blast....right in the face!!! "You are blind...but YOU CAN SEE!!!....WHY DO YOU NOT LOOK!!!"; the voice seemingly close yelled at Galam. "LOOK!!!"; the voice repeated as blast after blast of energy hit Galam. "LOOK!!!" "I AM RIGHT HERE!!!" As the bursts ended Galam fell to his knees and he could smell his vest burning, his skin singed clean of all hair. "Who are you....show yourself and face me....SHOW YOURSELF COWARD!!!"; urged a very weakened Galam. "I am right here Galam." whispered the voice as he felt himself thrown from the platform to the arena floor below. "Why do you not see....are you afraid?" ; the voice taunted. "Afraid....of what.....of who?" ; Galam answered as he rolled up and stood. "SHOW YOURSELF"; challenged Galam. "I am right here...you CAN see me."; answered the voice as Galam was enveloped in a vortex of wind and energy. "Look....see through your blindness." ; advised the voice. The ongoing pain within Galam grew as well as his anger but oddly he began to feel refreshed....rejuvinated...he felt himself being pulled upward by the vortex of energy and air. "CAN YOU SEE?....Use your pain.....use your anger....set yourself free!!" ; advised the voice directly in front of Galam now as he hovered in the air. Galam focus began to bring a silouette to appear across from him....he concentrated on the pain and channelled his anger into a thrust of force that propelled himself downward and out of the vortex. *BLAM* an energy circle rippled weakly out from the landing Galam. "Ahhh....there now....you can see...there might be hope for you afterall Galam." ; the voice remarked coldly. Galam could see the silouette raise an arm and motion toward the wall....the arena lights began to turn on...some flickering while others warmed up. The now visible figure walked toward Galam and as he came into full view he saw a familiar but unfamiliar face..he could not place it at first. "You once showed me a great service...in this arena...aided me in my first and only victory. In this arena you were quite the master....I think I have show you it is only "some" of the time." ; commented the Sith Inquisitor. Still angered but at an obvious disadvantage, Galam agreed as he brushed down his smoldering clothing. "I can show you how to master the darkness and harness the power you possess; yet know nothing about or how to apply it." ; offered the Sith Inquisitor. "And you are....why should I even think of taking any offer from you." ;answered a defiant Galam. *chuckling a bit under his breath the Sith Inquisitor replies* "Because my new friend...Galam....you must. There is no refusal of a Sith who chooses you as his apprentice....there is only death." Galam could feel a constriction around he whole body and quickly he replied "I see" AHHH...SEE....I told you you could see....even when blinded or in the light of wisdom." ; snickered the Sith Inquisitor. "Join me tomorrow at the cantina at 19 indexes sharp and we will discuss your future Galam...there is much work to do...let alone be able to fly a starship." ; remarked the Sith Inquisitor as he began to depart the Arena. "Starship...how...how did you know" ; a confused Galam answered. "You will learn much apprentice....there is much to do....ask for Colin Mor at the Cantina....and be on time...it will not bode you well to be late." replied Sith Inquisitor Sorcerer Colin Mor, VIGILANCE. Galams life was now ever changed....a new chapter was about to begin. -
