Here, Here!!!! Well put both of you. I have been associated with this guild for 3 ears now, off and on, and you know what? Ive only seen Borg once, nd that was at my first stoning 3 year ago. And that has never once compromised the effectiveness of this guild. If you read the Codex, it says also that Greg is the Emperor now anyways, Borg is Pater Imperium. I mean do you guys get mad at Pres. Bush when he doesnt show up at your barbque? How many of you have met Bush? Its the same here. consider Borg's post as the same as a TV message from our commander in chief. Thats all we need from him. The guild is setup with LEADERS to accomplish the goals of guild. If your a new recruit, the only person you really NEED on a day-to-day basis is your sponsr or knight anyway. I believe Lora and Logan have really bent over backwards to satisfy the guild, and that in itself is a show of respect to our concerns. Lets respet them also and stop worrying about when we'll see Borg (hes not all that pretty anyway, hehe)

That little *&%&*^ is the reason i came back to UO, wel one of them, the other more important one is PGoH. He is top of my list. Anyone see him PLEASE icq me. I sit at home in Fellucca sharpening my weapons just thinking of the day when I can slice that little %^$&^&* up!!!! *holds grudges much*

This really saddens me. I agree a change needs to be made. I dont feel every member should choose. I believe the Counsel should choose. I think the members should nominate, and thru those nominations the Counsel picks the new successor. I choose not to vote until the very last minute. It seems not all are in agreement to this change. Most likely will never be in agreement. Thats why a Counsel is setup. Or, if we choose an emperor, all other positions are gonna change also. Are we gonna vote on every position or does the Counsel take over after we, as a whole, choose a successor? That i could deal with.

Very good, some differences of opinion! Id like to hear more on this if anyone has any opinion on the 8x8 method.

Perfectly put , Kodoz. Everytime I thought of a point to add, your next point covered it! I personally have hunted with Kodoz, Cheblis, Lord Prom, Steel, and Winter Wind and have found every excursion very enjoyable. All new recruits need to realize that if your fighting with one of the vets, if you die, you only really lose fame, thats it. Not skills, stats or anything else. Except for items, and they are just that, ITEMS. itms can be bought and sold all day long. And if you lose an item thats very dear to you, I have ffull faith that probably an elder has it, or they will make a point to keep an eye out for it. Also, you lose 10% fame each death, thats not a big deal, until you get close to Lord/ Dread Lord and again, its just a title. One point for the new recruits that I learned the hard way. Just because you go into, say, Shame and kill every single earth elem that comes your way, doesnt mean you can do that next time yu go in. They all have different strengths.

This is just a general post, no time frame. I need someone to come to my house sometime. The reason is a got the tower from a 3 year player, and theres some things in the house Id like to put on a vendor. Not anything special(believe me I took all the weapons!) some things like a granite rock and beads and things. If someone is willing, check over the things in my house and let me know if its saleable or just junk. I have a small tower(old style) and dont have the room for all this junk. Thanks guys! Here is my plan. I want a full GM necro, full GM smith/tailor/tinker/carp, a full GM tamer mage, full GM paladin, and a full GM tank mage. I want a keep fully stocked with everything you can think of!!! As of now, I have a 92 necro........oh yeah thats it!!! I have never played EQ,SB, or any of the other RP games out. In fact never seen them. This is my home and it took 2 years to get back here. Im not going anywhere. And if someone wants that Dread Centruion position, you better hurry Im gaining on ya!!!!

Youre doing the right thing, dont be sorry about that. I had to quit UO altogether 2 years ago for family reasons. Dont regret it at all. By the looks of it, UO will be around for a long time. The most fun of this game is seeing the skills raise as you go. If I knew how you guys could have so many Gm chars, Id be right there with you guys!! BB, when you see me on, and have some time, Ill do what I can and purchase a few things. Im not rich at all, but Ill always help!!

Thank you Steel!! I read that before ever going out, and the reason I dont group hunt much is because if some follow this and some dont, all die!! Its very impressive way of fighting IMO.

If anyone knows where it is, there was a battle tactics post here long ago, from Wolf, i believe. I could be wrong on that so dont mean to offend. That is very good read. Really helped me out. Chris is right about the line. But imagine having 6 attackers and each one has a healer behind him, plus throw in a few necros and tamers. That Champ will be running home with his &*%^ between his legs!!!

Anyone selling any good Mage armor? Ill buy any type, but if i had a choise id be looking for some red or blue bone armor or a nice dex suit.

Upon talking with Winter Wind about the quests. I have decided this is a good time to start a little quest romp for newbie like me, and also for elders' with new characters. Also, since I can only play late at night when everyone is sleeping, this is for the nite owls also. I'd like to start with the Hag quest. I'm on everyday after 11pm EST to 5am. Im off work Monday thru Wednesday also, although itll have to be a set time agreed on for those days. If anyone is on at these times and is interested in completing all 5 quest, leave me a reply and we can coordinate these romps. I have runes for the Hag quest now, and Im sure we can converse with some of the members who have completed these quests to get more for the others. I know its short notice, but Id like to do the Hag quest this Monday, and try to hit one a day after that. If anyone is interested again, lemme know. Also, if any Healers out there want to help along that would be great also. Let's go get em!!!!!!

I concur with Winter. I just found out Ill be moving to Ft. Campbell when my wife comes back from Iraq. I have DirectTV satellite conn. and its great, except for playing UO. But thats AoS's fault not the conn. Its actually better than my old cable service. Have a safe move, see you soon.

I've had such a good time lately, and some people have done really great things for me in the last week, I felt compelled to share it with everyone. This is what this guild is all about. 1. Winter & Raistlin Wind: For the last week Winter has been helping me with swords and anatomy. Took me over to the lizzie and had a great time. Not to mention, both the sisters have provided me with some outstanding gameplay knowledge. 2. Cheblis, Prometheus, and Steel: For saving my butt in Shame, dropping everything to rush to my side. Then, for me ignoring their advice and not go back in(not only that, i went to lvl2*snickers*),and coming back again to save me. 3.Steel(Maven): For spending a night on me in Shame, giving me some great armor, and training me on fighting. Also, for bringin to my attention my AC was -2!! All this is why I dedicate myself to gain the skills needed to be able to pass all this on to younger players, and growing the guild. Strength and Honor!!!!!

Excellent profile of hunting, Pride. Thank you. Those of you who have not hunted with Wolf, really should!! His tactics and strategies of group hunting are superb. I was lucky, when I first started to play, my first hunt ever was with him. It hsa really helped me and can make a group hunt very enjoyable. Plus, even though most ppl in this guild don't go over to Fellucca. Its nice to know the rules of play over there so as to keep the game enjoyable. What can happen over there can make anyone want to quit. I should know, I quit 2 years ago for that very reason.

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum. Ive been having a serious problem with one certain aspect of the game....gates or recalls. Sometimes it takes my comp up to 24 seconds to complete a recall or gate. I have a cable conn. 512 RAM 2ghz processor. I cant understand why that keeps happening. Its very aggravating since I live in Fellucca. Like yesterday I spent about 2 hours in Shame, never once died and never had to run, great day. After it was done and i return home, i get stuck in a recall and when I finally pop through, i was killed by a mongbat!! what a waste of fame. I know a spellchannelling weapon would help, but I live next to the Dragons and that wont do a thing for those guys. Is there something I can do or is it just the name of game??

"I hope this isnt another attempt for a family reunion," Lukkan proclaims with disgust. He opens the sealed parchment and reads: Dearest brother Lukkan, I understand your need for solitude, and although I miss you greatly, I was too young to understand the reasons behind your leaving and the bitterness between you and Mordred, but I have noone to turn to in this matter. Two days ago, Mordred left Trinsic to head towards the PGoH city in Malas. He was to join the guild, in hopes of providing a better life for me, my daughter Gyenn, and our brother Alexi. Last he told me it was to be a quick initiation by Decurion Ballyn, and he would return by daybreak. I havent heard from him since. Normally, I wouldnt involve you, but Alexi is in training as a Paladin, and I cannot leave Gyenn alone. Mordred says you are not the Lukkan we new. He says you are close to evil, hardened, and have no place in normal society. I refuse to believe this. I still feel your heart. Our mother was a great procurer of the Arcane arts, and I have spent my time hear practicing her spellbooks. Please find him, for I cannot hold a household by myself. He needs you, Lukkan, I fear he is in grave danger. Gloriana Mortain "Mordred is missing?" says Lukkan with a sigh."I must consult Mordoth, maybe he can use his skills to see what he's gotten into. Mordred is just an easy miner, he can't defend himself from the evils out there." Lukkan jumps upon his steed and strides quickly to Umbra. As he reaches Mordoth's castle, he is greeted at the castle doors by Mordoth's familiar. Laughingly the familiar replies,"Looking for brother I bet." "Yes, Mordoth can you locate him?" With a loud pop and a burst of smoke, Mordoth appears. "You family is here now, not the mortals," Mordoth says angrily. "But he is in danger, they cannot survive without him,"says Lukkan. "That is not your concern now, you belong here." "He is my brother, I must find him, I shall return after he is safe." "You will not!! Your training is most important now." "My family is more important than training, I am sorry to dissapoint you." "You dare defy me," screams Mordoth,"In Sar!!!" With a flash of bright light, an extreme pain comes of Lukkan dropping him to his knees. "I saved you from death! You were but a lifeless corpse before I came and ressurected you, you serve me!!" " I serve Honor! I killed the murderers and thieves of Fellucca for the good of the Empire. I may have lost my way, but I can see you are no God of Honor." Lukkan stands to his feet and raises his hands. "Kal Res Por," proclaims Lukkan. And with a puff of smoke he was gone. "COWARD!!! YOU CAN"T HIDE FROM ME,"screams Mordoth into the dark night. A knock at the door awakens Gloriana. She rushes to the door hoping it be Mordred. She creaks the door open. An ominous figure dressed in blue armor, wearing a blue cape and skirt adorning a blue barbed bone helm. The figure slowly removes his bone helm. With a gasp, Gloriana says, "Lukkan?? Is that you?" "Aye,sister, tis me" "But your skin, its so pale and cold, your hair is red like fire?" "Im not what I used to be," Lukkan says shamefully. "But you are my brother still," Gloriana says tearfully as she embraces Lukkan. "I will find Mordred, do not fret over this." "Thank you, brother, we need him so." "Who was he to meet with?" "He was meeting Decurion Ballyn. Do you know him?" "Aye, At first light I will head to Olympus to speak with him." "Come on in, Lukkan, lets get you comfortable, stay here tonite, I will prepare your bag for the journey tomorrow." "Aye, a good night's sleep will do me well, thank you, Gloriana." "Thank you, Lukkan, for coming home."

Maybe im going about this the wrong way...maybe a necro/mage makes more sense. I guess I need to hunt with some of you Mages and see how it is. I just feel unarmed without a weapon for some reason. Maybe habit from my last character.
