So, IF I choose to go necro/mage I would need Eval Int, if not I can toss it? I've been hearing ppl discuss Resist as being worthless now since AoS? I dont quite understand most of this, Im trying but even in my D&D days, I couldnt understand alot!! Now if I am 100+ in 7 skills, and I dont have magery, can I still recall and heal alittle bit? Maybe its my skill lvl, but SS seems like its not a guarantee fix, plus if theres no corpses around Im draining my own mana. I suppose I can go the bandies route, but isnt that healing? One last question: If you have a necro, anyone, what type of armor would you consider to be the best for that char? I had some armor from Cheblis, which I didnt take a good look at, but I was knocking down Earth elems right and left, but since I died late one night and got looted(long story,no ones fault, comp lag) and lost it, Ive ried other armor and I dont stand a chance.

Aye, perfectly put. I must be the king of solo hunting(guess cuz im usually on at 11pm to 5 am), but I always, everytime, no matter how many times I have hunted that dungeon, always check for the wandering healers. Not only that, but whats around the healers i.e. Shame. Nothing worse than getting rezzed and hit by a reaper in one fail swoop!! And also, dont feel like you dont want to ICQ someone and bother them. For most of the elders, A rez or heal takes one shot, then they can go back to their duty. Because I keep losing good armor, ive started using cheap armor, and I cant count how many times Ive Q'd Cheblis or Kodoz for help, and they always come running!!! What a guild!!

I usually come on really late at night and most ppl are already off, Ive been trying to find this Malas PGoH city. Can someone give me a tour, or maybe the coordinates. I have a sextant, but never used it.

Ok, so this is what im looking at so far: Necro SS Focus Weapon Anat Now, Im pretty high on Med, but I heard thats not necessary. I got 2 spots left to fill....Eval Int,Hiding,Poison,Resist,or Tactics...any suggestions?

Approximately how long did it take you to GM? actually im at 69 necro, so about how much time do I need to spend to GM....wondering if its something I can do in a day or split it up.

My question now is about stats, what combo should I have for a necro. And if anyone can help me with the debate about wether I should have a necro/mage...or necro/warrior. Id like to be the first, but I cant seem to get comfortable with fighting without a weapon. And does anyone have a suggestion for a template? I asked earlier and got some good advice, but since I live in Fellucca, some ppl say I might need a different setup. Any advice?

I learned from my source in the Shadowlords that Lukkan was spotted leaving Skara Brae by boat. I went to see the boatswain and paid a pretty gold piece for some very valuable information. I learned his boat was on course for Fire Island. I know from his days with PGoH, he loved to go train with Kalinaf there. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before. I certainly am not ready for a confrontation with him. He could hug me or stab me. Tis brought my family great pain to not have him around. Nevertheless, I took a boat myself to Fire Island. The creatures from that island are quite harmful, so I decide to skirt around the coast to try and get a glimpse of him. A passerby catches my attention for a minute. Must be very cautious of thieves here. "Hee,hee, ya must be lookin fer that blue skelly," he says in his salty accent. "I'm sorry, my good man, I know not of what you speak," I reply. "Aye, the blue skelly, makes the ded come back". "Have you seen a necromancer on this island?," I say. "Aye, the demon catcher we calls im, Wanna see him?" "Yes sir, if you will, I can pay you." "Nay, me sleep on gold pieces, heehee," he says with a chuckle. We walk along the woods, through old houses, some decaying from age, when we came upon an evil-looking tattered remains of an old temple of some sort. There he stood, casting spells on daemons and reviving the dead. He looks powerful, at least to my untrained eye. "He looks invulnerable," I proclaim. "Blue skelly is wicked, but not indestructible," he says." Fer jus last moon I saw im attacked by da thiefs, kill him they did." I dropped this note off to Kodoz. He must have a weakness, or not what I thought of him. I shall travel back to Fire Island to gather more information. Then maybe some time, I can brave a meeting with my brother. Im wondering if anyone can give me some training advice for my necro. I mean like day-to-day what exactly should I be doing. Just fight is what most say, but what?? Whatever I can handle?? And what is going to give me the greatest gains?

OK, I dont know too muchabout this but I just purchased a boat and am going to attempt the 8x8 method. If anyone is willing to assist me I'd like that greatly, I do live in Fellucca on Fire island and I heard that was a good spot.

Most of you dont know me well, but I play Lukkan Mortain. Just wanted you guys to keep my wife in mind. She is still in the Army and has just been deployed to Ft. Campbell. She is a crewchief for the Apache battalion there and has been put on Alert to deploy "at any minute". So Im quitting my job to take care of my two kids, and possibly move since she was told to prepare for 3 years in Campbell. Last time, I was in the Gulf and she was here with the kids alone. So its gonna be tough, but just wanted you guys to keep her in your thoughts. Shes my baby girl and Im gonna miss her greatly.

How do i know if I was accepted?

Anyone know if PGoH is recruiting?? I put in an application about three weeks ago and havent heard back. Is there certain times? And is there really a Necro Cohort??

Another note to newbies: If you use tact and stay positive and firm, Maybe the guildmaster will take it upon himself to pay to open the account and get your house for you!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!! Thanks again to Cheblis, for being the moderator and keeping me levelheaded. I had another way to solve this

Seems to me the looting thing is right on as far as role play goes, I mean your corpse is a beast, wraith or lich, all hunted in here. So If i drop mage and med and eval int hers what i got: Necro Spirit Speak Focus Swords Anat Tactics thatll leave me with one open. Any suggestions? Healing, Poison, Hiding??

Im not sur if this is the board for this but I thought Id give a warning for all the newbies, just helping where I can. Most of the Elders will want to slap me forthis, but i deserve it. Always,always be very careful with people outside your guild as far as trusting them. I just lost a house and about 5 years worth of stuff because I trusted a guy to own my house for awhile until my transfer time was positive again. According to this guy he didnt pay his account and now I have lost my house and all that stuff. Most ppl im sure will say well its just a house, it was in Fellucca, and its only stuff, which is true....But this house and all that stuff was a gift from a r/l friend leaving UO due to a bad connection in his area. It was on Fire Island, where I used to live when I was a legionaire, I believe Kalinaf used to live there also. My char. now are only 1 month old, so that stuff wouldve helped me greatly. So please, please be careful with twisting rules and stuff, make sure you completely trust this person. In addition, the guildmaster this person is a part of was extremely helpful in the situation. I didnt get my house or the stuff, but he did offer a very acceptable solution......1mil gp and a house in Malas. I know not everybody is as ssentimental as I am, but I went through alot of problems when I usedto play, ask Selena!! Again, I had great help from Cheblis in contacting the guildmaster and am extremely appreciative towards him for that!!

OK so basically I have a choice between a Necro/Mage or a necro/warrior. I think I would like a necro warrior i believe,so if i drop med for SS, then drop Mage for Anat, do i still need Eval Int for anything?? Since I have kids under 3, hiding is kinda important, is it worth making room for?

If that is the case to whoever said we should pay, the nthis is false asdvertising. The gane is 30 bucks, the monthly service is 10 bucks, accordingto Origin, that fee includes customer support, now we're supposed to PAY more now?!! Thats outrageous, we shouldnt have to pay for the fact that this game is a hit. If they thought it would fail they wouldnt have put it out. If they need more money then it should come out of the purchase price. They could have easily charged 50 bucks and sold just as many. *drops two cents on the floor*

OK, heres what Im looking at and a few questions on some things I have: Necro 62 Mage42 Eval Int 52 Focus 89 Med 45 Tactics 38 Swords 38 ok i know i prolly dont need both focus and med, so ill keep the higher one, which frees up a skill. Unsure about what to pick....anat, poison, hiding?? Ialso heard someone advise me to start working swords quickly before my dex starts dropping.....currently str60, dex58, int 82. Anybody help me out befor eI mess this all up!!!

Geez, I wanna go!!! Oh wait my necro warrior is "estranged" and the only other character I use now is a miner. Shoot, forget it. Someday I'll have the time to get my paladin and Tamer of their feet, But 4 chars tgraining is too much for me!!!! Have fun guys!!! Last legionaire hunt i did with Wolf was awesome!!! He really knows how to group fight!!!

Last time I played UO3D hadnt come out yet!!!! Now I got my copy of AOS 7 days shy from getting a Shroud......and I coulda waited 1 month and saved 20 bucks!!! Plus I suck, why do i PLAY!!!!??!!!!?
