Most distressing news. Shortly after the bazaar, I agreed to tend to the prisoner known as Khamar who had been captured by citizens of Daedalus and held in the Trinsic Jail. It was hoped that matters for his arraignment and eventual trial (and execution) could be settled, but at some point during the evening an explosion occurred, a rope was lowered, and Khamar escaped out of the opening. This prisoner is considered highly dangerous, having slain several citizens of our fair city in addition to many paladins. He may be heading toward Daedalus (on the peninsula west of Wrong) but that is uncertain. What is certain is that he must be captured. The Daedalus guard have agreed to help capture this individual (again), however their forces are stretched rather thin. Also, it appears that he has an accomplice, given the method of his escape. In summary: --Khamar must be captured and returned to the Trinsic Jail (and brought to trial). --His accomplice must be brought to Justice. --Resources, material and manpower must be effected toward the repair of one of the cells in the Trinsic Jail. As far as a house, a three-story plot has opened up near the moongate in Trinsic. This has been open all week and quite frankly I am surprised that no one has plopped one down yet (trolls and ogres maybe). The spot can fit a three-story 10x15, or a large L-shaped (but uncustomizable) house. I might actually do it myself with my other account (I loooove decorating, you can see more of my work just north of Trinsic--look for a tree-like house owned by Mustarik). Of course, these days most everyone can travel just as effectively as mages so vendor location isn't as important as it was in the old days. Just the willingness to advertise (lay runes all over the place), stock daily, and keep abreast of the market. So the Empress' house should suit just fine. Good luck in your new and challenging post. Ah, that is something I can do while I limp about. I may even finish my Tragedy of Mondain play if I knew I had capable actors to fill the roles. There seems to be a charming elf down in Trinsic who seems to have a real native knack for rhyming, so Kodoz may have a run for his money. He claims to live in a tree, but I don't believe it. This elf did give me a nice lyrical summary of the Elven Heritage quest so I have that on my desk. I may submit that for him. --Tymaron

According to the Catskills forum and the RP Ring forum, a few sashes were handed out last night. It seems Lord William has to make them himself which would explain the long wait for these items. I suppose we'll just have the normal massive extravaganza of an event on Friday. If he intends to hand out the sashes exclusively on weeknights, I may never get one as I work on those nights (and sometimes on Friday as will be the case next week). But he did at least interview the prospects for the sashes instead of just putting out a box or whatnot. --Tymaron

The house has been demolished and anyone who so desires can make the journey to the Doom area to hunt for the spot. In the meantime, the architects have finished my new offices in Moonglow and I will be spending much time here as I was severely wounded during the Royal Britannian Guard's fiasco in the Palace of Paroxysmus.
