Just a random question: Thorax, what's your screen resolution? Because in the screenshot you posted, the avatars are bigger than on mine. Mine's at 1024x768 and they're so tiny since UO changed the default or whatever a while back.

Not be nervous?! With Sabrina staring at her, Kitty challenging Glenni in a (not so) subtle way, and Caladan hating drow, how could Piper NOT be nervous? XD Haha, just messing around. Piper received a message from the Trinsic jail and sent messages out for assistance since she knew it had to be because of Renor. Thorax and Caladan were the first to show along with Piper, and when they went back by the cells, the daemon Paradox was breaking Renor out. Words were exchanged and when Piper reached for her spellbook, Renor sent her an unpleasant memory, temporarily disabling her. In the meantime, Caladan and Thorax attacked Renor and knocked her unconscious. Paradox picked her up and vanished shortly thereafter. Then Kitty came and inspected Renor's cell, where she found dead vermin and blood left over from rituals Renor had been performing to heal herself. The guards apparently hadn't noticed or realized what was going on. I believe it was around this time that Mare arrived. Kitty said she knew the drow Glenni had been able to hold Renor captive, though Kitty didn't know how; so they set out for the drow lands in Yew to seek an answer. They met Glenni and her servant Sabrina and discussed the issue. Glenni asked what the Guardians would offer for her help, and Piper wasn't certain since Kodoz and Charlie are away; but she did say that since Renor had attacked Charlie, she was sure Kodoz would be very eager to see Renor behind bars again. However, Kitty was mostly concerned with learning how they had kept Renor captive, so she offered herself as a servant to Glenni in exchange for this knowledge. Glenni accepted, so Kitty is now staying with the drow. Callista showed up toward the end of it. So those involved were Piper, Thorax, Callista, Mare, and Caladan, if I remember correctly. Yeah. Kitty wanted to know how Glenni was able to hold Renor captive, but of course Glenni wouldn't give such information for free. So Kitty offered to be Glenni's servant while she learns how it was done.

In the past few days, Callista was made Decurion, Herion got the title of Knight, and Mare Jade Sky passed from Legionnaire to Squire. So congrats to all three of you on your new positions. I hope I'm not leaving anyone out. If I am, feel free to yell at me.

I hit GM taming and I'm not gaining from unicorns or mares anymore. The next step up appears to be white wyrms, but without a peacer (Piper's a tamer/mage), it's pretty much pointless to attempt taming one. So this means...! I'd appreciate it very much if any bards could give me a hand with the things. I tried alone the other day and it was no use; they either get angered or decide to blast me with something and interrupt taming. SO! Any peacers who feel up for it (and can handle a ww) can IM me at 205-053-278 whenever. I'd be really grateful for any help, otherwise it'll take forever for me to gain (I usually can only manage the minimum 0.1 a day for whatever reason). Thanks.

I'll be out-of-state attending a memorial for my grandparents in North Carolina from tomorrow (May 5) through Sunday (May 7). Just wanted to explain my absence.

With the way my hours at work are, I really can't give any input as my schedule varies from day to day and week to week. But you know I'm around whenever I can be.

Everyone involved has my best wishes and will be in my thoughts. I'm assuming they'll at least attempt some treatment or surgery or something for it and I hope whatever they choose to do helps. I'd encourage her family to try to keep her mom in good spirits because the will to keep going can be part of what aids in recovery. I'd also like to add that if Charlie ever needs to vent, she can do so to me. Anything to help relieve some of the stress. Things happen for a reason, I think... so there must be a reason for this too, even if it's not easily recognizable. Remember the story of Job? There was even a reason for all the things that happened to him. Stay strong and keep going. Don't let emotions get pent-up and cry when you need to. Once again, you're all in my thoughts.

I'd like to get my hands on a mare with better resists than mine has, and preferably with stats just as good as mine. Of course I could always go to Umbra, but the spawn rate is so slow there and it takes too much searching to find the one mare. I could also go to Ilshenar but paragons aren't something I want to mess with on a character with mediocre resists. My favorite spot is Fel Covetous - the exit is right nearby in case of an emergency and the spawn is nice. One problem though: there are occasionally reds. I think I've only encountered two: one I hid from and the other ended up killing me and stealing some stuff my insurance had run out on. So this brings me to my next point: I'd be really grateful if anyone with good PVP skills would be willing to back me up while I try to tame a nice mare. You don't have to worry about me obsessing over getting a perfect pure mare; the color doesn't matter to me at all as long as its stats are good. After all, there's no difference between the colors. All I really need is for someone to be there in case a red shows up and thinks a tamer would be an easy kill. I'm very good at keeping people cured/healed, and I could set my own mare against a red if need be to keep them busy with both a player and a mare attacking them. The problem is that if they go after me me, I'll die in a few hits. So as long as I'm kept alive, I can heal and help out as necessary. So if anyone's up for gaining some Justice in your virtue gump (or if you just want to kill some reds), please let me know. My ICQ number is 205-053-278.

I do, though I think Tom from MySpace is a huge idiot. All his spelling errors in the bulletins are amusing. Yeah, so that means everyone needs to RP twice as much to make up for her absence! I'll miss seeing you and your characters around. No Daniel'le being obnoxious in the tavern and no Here Kitty to patronize Piper. And yes, I actually WILL miss that. XD I wish you the best and hope the transition is smooth for you.
