The sequel to UO and new RPG MMO game being designed by Richard Garriot (Lord British) and Starr Long (Lord Blackthorn) is SHROUD OF THE AVATAR. They are taking painstaking detail in the desires of the players and dreams years ago in UO that they could not do with the technology back then. Now armed with the new technology levels the pair has reassembled nearly all of the designers of the team again (Iolo too and his musical lute) and have opened the discussions to players who join the game early on in development. I joined up during the very first kickstarter many many years ago....and have just recently been adventuring within the Pre-Alpha game engine. If you are a fan of the Ultima Online sagas and want to participate in the weekly dialog with the development team, as well as mess around in-game as a tester...there are many MANY levels of participation available.
